@angthrice:  Oh no! I think it might help to sit down and camply discuss your expectations, both how you want your wedding to be and who should do what. I  think wedding planning is a great time for the couple to practice compromising, talking things out and dealing with each other and each other’s families. You can do it, it just sounds like you and your groom are coming into this with different expectations. Good luck!

My Darling Husband wasn’t an over the top groomzilla, but he had plenty of opinions. He insisted on having a photobooth. He added tons more flowers bc he didn’t want it to be bare. He was particular about the favors. He tried to talk me into getting my make up professionally done. He wanted my hair down.

I have to say, it’s really strange what things the guys take interest in. I was pretty shocked about all of DH’s things. Just remember, the wedding will pass and the stress of all of it will be lifted. I’m 35 weeks pregnant now, and the pregnancy is FAR less stressful than wedding planning!!

Good luck!

If my Boyfriend or Best Friend and me got me, I wouldn’t be surprised if he turned into a Groomzilla. We’ve been throwing around some ideas if we did get married. Apparently the cake has to be chocolate and he wants control of the music played at the wedding. Also he doesn’t want me to have curly hair and he wants my makeup to be very simple….. So far that’s just the start of it. Oh dear, I’m scared if we do get engaged how he’ll be like when we actually do start planning. He hates it when I plan anything. lol
