Mine TOTALLY is!  I love it.  Since I work almost 12 hours a day, 5 days a week, he has to help me with the research and contacting vendors.  Right now my biggest stressor is finding a MUA, so my Fiance actually posted on his status on Facebook, “Anyone know a good hair & makeup person krazeekat and bridesmaids can use for the wedding day?”

Of course he got a TON of sh*t for that!  But it only makes me love him more.  Laughing

My hubby was not into the reception idea at all, at first.  But I wanted to incorporate our different nationalities into our wedding and that got him more interested.  Our wedding turned out beautiful and he had his input and enjoyed it as much as I did, if not more!

Mine isn’t, and I am so glad! I get to make all the decisions myself.

My fiance is leaving for Basic in October so he said he wanted to be a part of the plans while he is still here so together we are looking for colors to fit our theme. When he leaves, than I will be wholly in charge. Right now we are having fun finding interesting ways to make the wedding memorable.

My fiancé is so much more involved than I expected — even in the crafty stuff!  There are some things he’s totally uninterested in, but I’d say that he has a hand in 90% of the planning!  He’s especially great when I say, “I’m stressed.  I need your help by doing X, Y, then Z.  Let’s strategize!”  And he loves when I give him ownership of a project.  I asked him to find a band, and BAM, we had a band!  I asked him to print the invitations (which was SO complicated and involved some double siding and dealing with margins, blech!), and he took total ownership of it.  So awesome!

Mine is pretty involved, but my dutch sucks so he has to do the talking with vendors that don’t speak much english.

And I think he’s involved to make sure a camel doesn’t show up somewhere in the day…LOL.

My fiance is pretty helpful. He has been to all of our vendor meetings and has had input. He has been someone I have been able to bounce ideas off of and we are usually on the same page so that is nice.

My fiance is very involved.

We went to Kohl’s yesterday to register, and I literally (I’m not kidding) had to stand in the aisle wrestling the registry gun away from him. My breaking point was when he wanted to register for a deep fryer; that’s when I took control of the registry gun.

=) His excitement is very cute. But at times can be just a tad bit annoying, such as when choosing color schemes. Let me tell you, most men have NO sense of color coordination.

My fiance doesn’t take planning initiative on his own, but when I talk to him about planning, he loves it. And he happily goes to bridal shows and cake tastings with me, and he was totally into our dozens of photographer interviews and venue tours!

My Fiance is very involved, but sometimes he is just WAYYYY to quick to shoot down ideas or put the kabosh on something.  He wouldn’t even let me pick out the color scheme because he wanted the designer for the decor’s input first!  However, we both agree that this is OUR day and not just mine.  It’s actually kind of cute how much effort he puts in.

Mine is essentially doing EVERYTHING — from budget, to vendors (DJ, menus), guest accommodations, and talking with the wedding planner. I am basically just showing up and I love it! (I’m not much of a planner)

We are having a destination wedding in Cabo, and my only responsibilities are my dress, hair, arch for the beach and flowers. OK, I did design the invites, but I am a graphic designer, so that was kind of a given. lol

I feel very lucky. 🙂

Mine hasn’t done a damn thing. Well, scratch that… he called the home reception venue, put down a deposit, then fought with me about why they didn’t need the contract faxed back to them right away. /grumble

Still no suit/shoes/ties, no gifts for the groomsmen… bleh.  I wish he was more involved, but me being on top of it all means it gets done quickly and efficiently! 😉

Hmm… sort of?  My fiance doesn’t want to deal with all of the details exactly.  But he does have an opinion on everything.  He is an architect, so he deals in design on a daily basis.  He is very worried about all of the design aspects of our wedding.  He also made our wedding website, save-the-dates, invitation suite including a custom map, and now he’s working on programs.

I wish my Fiance was more involved. I just created a post on the subject. He usually agrees on my ideas, but other than that he doesn’t really know what he can do to help. He is not good at doing internet research like I am. He is an artist though so he should be able to help with the reception invitations, the dj, and the cake.
