Hey bees! Ugh I am having SUCH baby fever!!! I work on labour and delivery so every day I’m seeing couples go through this incredible life experience. I’m still young (I’m 26) and just logistically it doesn’t make sense to start TTC until at least a year from now so looks like we’ll be waiting. Anyone else feeling the baby itch?

I have freakin baby flu! I’ve started watching TTC/Pregnancy vlogs, I read all the pregnancy threads and i love the bump love thread!
I’m turning 30 this year and DH is turning 33. We’ve been married since January and i’ve only been thinking baby since then. We decided not to try at least until we get back from our trip in May.

We are newlyweds. I never craved babies before meeting DH, but now I somewhat look forward to having kids one day. I still cherish my freedom as a a childless lady, but I think it will be nice to have babies with DH one day. There are just other exciting things on the horizon before having the kiddos!

We’ve been married for two weeks, but I’ve had baby fever for about two years. We aren’t trying yet, we want to move away before we start a family and I TOTALLY agree with that (I’m not crazy about the midwest and I don’t want to raise my kids here). I had the weirdest dream about going into labor last night, followed by another one about peeing on a stick. So yeah. I have the fever.

Ya i hear ya. I think it’s really important to enjoy the kid-free part of a relationship and build a really solid foundation. Lots to look forward to!
ee thats so soon!! 🙂

So much baby fever it’s not even fun any more.
I love helping out my friends who are pregnant or with newborns, but I always come away so sad knowing that we still have while before we can start TTC 🙁

Yes occassionally I do. I know 6 pregnant women, all in vary stages of their pregnancy, three due in May, one in July, one due in August, and one due in September and let me tell you, it makes having another kid sound really nice, even though we just aren’t ready for another right yet. I also have a heavy duty birth control going on so that helps really preventing any surprises ha. But I usually sit myself down and remind myself why we’re not ready, it’s hard though because we do want another, we’re just not sure if it’s the best idea to have anohter.

I’m only 22, but yes, I have had baby fever for the past few months. Logistically, I know we won’t have children until I am 26 or 27 at the earliest, but I still think about it all the time! I know I will be happy that I waited since we will be financially better off, and we will have traveled, and I’ll be finished with school and have a career, but I can’t help what I want! 🙂

I have MAJOR baby fever!!! I’m 25 and my Fiance is 30 and we plan on starting our TTC a month before our wedding next year. So we still have a year to go. We both have stable careers and have built a strong foundation to start a family so we are in a good place right now 🙂 I’m itching to be a mommy so badly though! That’s all I’ve ever wanted and now that I’ve found the love of my life and am marrying him, I am so excited to start this next chapter together. It feels so close, yet so far away at the same time lol but right now we are just enjoying planning our wedding and our time together just the two of us before it becomes 3 🙂

We’re more in the, “nope! definitely not ready, yet!” camp. This is mainly due to major mental health issues going on with DH’s 14-year-old cousin. We traveled to another state to visit her at her special school, and between her and the other girls, there, we were turned off by the overwhelming responsibility associated with raising humans.
Previously, we had both experienced bouts of baby fever, but I think we’re both put off for quite some time.

Depends. When I’m around friends who are creating beautiful family units and raising independent, happy people – yes. When I’m around friends who seem to have lost all sense of self since having a baby and no longer prioritise their relationship with their SO – no and it makes me scared. I never want to be like that.

Yes. Right now and it sucks. It’s so terrible because logically I want to wait (I am making a huge career transition and it doesn’t make sense to TTC), but emotionally, my heart and body wants to TTC now.
We have decied to wait until February 2017 (so 1 year, 10 months and 4 weeks..but whose counting?). It feels like forever away, but it’s reasonable.

Yes! The fever has really set in the last few months. I’ve always known I wanted kids but the real biological urge is so surreal since we also know that we won’t start TTC till August 2016 at the earliest! Fortunately I work in an infant/toddler daycare so I get a nice balance of a)getting to spend time snuggling with sweet little babies, and b) the sweet relief of going home without them at the end of the day!
