@unixfairy:  I don’t know either. On the plus side, I don’t think she knows yet. I just don’t care any more. I asked her about it for her corsage but she says she doesn’t want one.

I didn’t know what either of our mothers would be wearing until the day of. I didn’t really care much. I knew they’d look fine!

I dont know either and it sort of concerns me. I have this fear that she is going to show up in cream or ivory.

so I had no idea until the wedding. MOG originally bought a dress from DEB but her sisters made her take it back. She actually looked beautiful. S-MOG looked like a chipotle burrito. Her dress didn’t fit and was gapping at the buttons. Awful! lol

Well, I have much more time than you, but she has said that she wants to wait until she has lost more weight to order the dress that she likes which worries me that she will wait and and when she orders it will be the first time she sees it in person.

@maggiemay0811:  same here. i think originally my mother in law had planned on wearing an off-white dress that she had worn for my fiance’s sister’s wedding a few years back, and i was less than thrilled to hear that. i know she’s not going to to steal my thunder by wearing a similar color as me (i’m wearing ivory), but still….thank goodness the sister contacted my fiance to get our opinion about it. i had already told my mom navy blue or gray/silver would look good, so i had my fiance pass the word along to his mom as well. i guess we’ll see what happens….

My mum’s actually wearing white, with gold and pink. It doesn’t look at all bridal and I’m wearing gold, so I’m not at all bothered (I actually encouraged her to buy it).

I had no idea what Mother-In-Law would be wearing until she showed up on the day of the wedding.  All I knew was that it was silver and long.  I wasn’t too worried about it. If it was ugly or inappropriate it would have been her problem, not mine.  She ended up wearing a lovely and totally appropriate dress.

I pretty much gave both the MOG MOB their own choice.  I just said no Red, Blue, or Black.  Otherwise it is fair game!! 🙂  I had them read some articles on ideas of what to wear for the wedding and now it’s up to them.  Although both of them still want the 3 of us to go shopping. Should be fun!  I am still leaving it up to them and will only give input when they ask.

Cool
