I was just wondering if anyone else has/had problems with setting up meetings with ceremony venues? Because of my fiance’s schedule it’s really hard for us to go to sites on the weekday and since I work on weekends, it’s just as difficult. I guess I’m just getting frustrated because our wedding is set for February and we might not have a place set for another month or two at the rate I’m going!

That was (so far) my most difficult task! I work days, he works nights, I eventually just had to take charge and book it. My fiance is very laid back though and was very happy once he finally did see the ceremony and reception sites.

As much as it sucks that you can’t go together, one of you needs to trust the other to attend the meetings and make a choice. If you’ve both discussed what you want, it shouldn’t be hard for one of you to determine if somewhere fits the bill.

Yes! I had trouble with this until I got laid off and had some extra time when we first got engaged!
