AWWWWWWWWWWWW  ((HUGS)) well our virtually family is here lol!! we can all share our cooking hits and misses… i realized this morning that i should have left the top off of the hen while removing it until the steam was gone so as not to have a super soggy skin, oops… (i cooked it last night)… my mom said that i can put it back in the oven to warm it back up… so at about noon-ish i’ll be putting it back in… i feel like such an adult this year making my very own thanksgiving dinner!!

Did you see my post about my trainwreck mac and cheese? I had to use a new recipe b/c I lost mine, and I cooked it for too long (per the recipe) and it dried out! I posted a thread begging for help, and the ladies delivered. I was able to save it. Yay!

Well, the pies turned out well after I got a pie dish! But, our turkey leaked all over the bottom drawer of the fridge and we were cleaning out the fridge at 9PM last night!

@KM- I hear you about rolling out the dough. Tough job. I’m adding some stuff to my registry after that. Proper pastry tools: food mill, pastry board, scraper, better rolling pin, better pie dish! Sorry you’re not with your Mom today:( Send her pics.
