The ads are killing this site. It’s not even worth logging on anymore

It never ends 🤦🏻‍♀️ Various screenshots from the beginning of this thread until now.

I’ve messaged weddingbee mods a few times about redirects and the mods replied engineers said it was an ad issue each time… oy.

Miss you, Ring lover Bees!

Mr. Bowtie :  I’ve had to change over to using Chrome, which never leaves me signed in, versus firefox, which keeps me signed in, but does not allow me to reply to specific people on posts, and has also hidden the formatting bar for like 3 weeks?

Also, the ads on this site are terrible. they make your browser SO SLOW and can cause the entire thing to crash, whether you are on a wedding bee post, or are in another browser window on an entirely different site. With the constant refresh that happens, it kills my browser speed and sometimes even kills the browser completely.

The development team is working on fixes for the login issues. I’ve looped in an ad trafficking manager to figure out where those ads are coming from and get them out of here – it may take a few days, but we are working on it.

For the takeover ads, are you seeing these in any other browser/device combination *aside* from iOS Safari on iPhone? Any Android/Chrome users also experiencing the intrusive ads?

Can you send the URLs that you’re visiting if you see these ads again? We’re trying to reproduce the issue so we can identify where they’re coming from.

Is anyone having trouble today? This site seems to be riddled with issues. I’ve been trying to start a new POAS thread over on the TTC board, but it hasnt posted and when I try to do it, it states I’m posting a duplicate post. Anyone have any tips or updates?

AquariusLove :  Right now I’m getting a message that says “This site has been archived or suspended.” I can still look at a few posts I had just opened though. This site has so many bugs!

jz0909 :  thanks for replying. This site really needs to do better and get a functioning IT department.

jz0909 :   AquariusLove :  seems like there’s a database error because I can’t see many profile avatars – they’re blank boxes right now. Ugh.
