Weird! I wonder if baby is hitting a ligament? I have always been able to pluck something like a guitar string with my lower rib — I don’t know what part it was, but if I stuck out my rib and pulled it in, it would make something click that I could both see and feel. It hasn’t been happening with the baby (and now I don’t have the ability to pull that rib in anymore, haha), but I wouldn’t be too surprised if her fat foot could pluck the same ligament thingamajig that my rib used to hit! Where is the click happening? Is it uncomfortable?

I definitely remember reading people posting about this on a pregnancy board when I was expecting, so you’re not alone!

I felt that a lot in the third trimester when I was pregnant with my son. So weird! I thought I was the only one. Still have no idea what it was.

I get a lot of cracking when I move, but not when the baby does. I’m 34 weeks, and as my pelvis has been getting looser it’s starting to sound like a bowl of rice krispies when I get out of bed in the morning. Any chance it’s from your joints getting loose?
