Or am I the only one freaking out!!
I promised myself that I would start working out and eating super healthy at the 6 month mark and 3 days later we went on holidays overseas (can’t diet on a holiday lol!)
Now I’m another 5kgs heavier with 5 months to lost 10kgs..
Who else is not on track with their weightloss goals lol?

Me! 4.5 months to drop 80 lbs that I gained after a car accident last year…AFTER I bought and paid for my dress. I am so screwed.
Veggies, fruit and water are my new best friends.

@Rrabbetsgirl: Good luck! Keep me updated. Have you noticed any changes?

I was overweight before my wedding. I didnt even bother trying. lol
With the craziness of planning the wedding, I didnt want to add the stress to that, with trying to lose weight.
But if you believe you can handle it. GO FOR IT!!! Good luck!
You will be beautiful no matter what.

@MrsMagillToBe: You are getting married on my birthday! 🙂
I have been doing nothing but stress eating the last 3 months. Working full time, going to graduate school full time and planning a wedding kind of sucks (but in a good… if that makes sense!). I need to lose the 8 pounds I put on from stress eating, and then lose another 5-15 after that…
@Rrabbetsgirl: Yay for Sept brides!

Lol I hear ya. I want to weigh under 130 on my wedding day. I’ve lost 15 pounds so far but I still have about 27 pounds to go eep! That’s about 5 pounds a month so it’s not SO bad, but I was hoping to be at my goal weight a month before the wedding so I won’t have to stress too much.
What’s your plan? Mine is strength training 2x and run 4x. My biggest issue is eating – I’m a sucker for all kinds of junk and fast food, even though I also like fruits, veggies and seafood.
Good luck to you!

I lost 85 lbs in 5.5 months last year without really trying, I just cut the carbs out and it fell off, so hopefully I can drop it again. I am pretty upset, didnt see the accident coming, it totally derailed me but if I can lose 4 lbs a week I can do it…just lots of walking and swimming and eating properly.

@VintageMichelle: You will be fine – Sounds like realistic goals 🙂
My biggest thing is not having enough time to hit the gym.. I wake up at 6.20am and leave for work and don’t get home until 6.15pm (just in time to make dinner and clean up) and I have a massive sweet tooth lol.
@Earlybride: Thats a good attitude 🙂

- Wedding: October 2013 - The Down Town Club, Philadelphia
I’ve lost around 18lbs so far. Trying to lose at least another 15lbs.
And my dress is already hanging in my closet, waiting to be altered. It’s a ballgown, so I am most concerned about my arms and back.
Just tryint to eat right, and work out more than my usual 3 times a week.
It’s been more challenging that I expected it to be!

OMG u literally just took the words outta my mouth!!!!! my other half gets free gym at his workplace so goes to work 1 hr early and works out and he is looking fab! so i need to start something. we have a local pool so thinking i shall go up there every morning. I have bad neck back and arms from car crashes so physio said swimminmg will be best! I have always eated what i wanted so i plan on keeping to that up until 1 month before as i can shed to much due to my dress not reaaaly needing alterations. i would like to tone my arms and back for pictures! Good luck everyone!

I’ve got 5 months to go too but it still seems SOOOO far away! I have completed 2/3 of the 30 Day Shred (exercise DVD) and the thought of doing something like this nearly every day for the next 5 months – no thank you! I think I’ll just monitor what I eat and how I exercise until a couple months out and then just go insane.

After we got engaged I pretty much starting working out and dieting right away. I never had a ton to lose, but I like to lose it slowly so it’ll stay off. I’ve lost 30 lbs and am basically exactly where I want to be, but my challenge has always been maintaining. Its really hard for me to not be in a losing or gaining stage and to just stay where I am.

Ughh, this is me exactly. I’m kind of freaking out which is why I bit the bullet and ordered Insanity (it comes in today!!!). I’m just not motivated enough to just go out and run or lift weights and I didn’t want to spend the money on a gym so I ordered it and I’m actually excited to start…even though I’ve heard it’s pretty brutal lol. I eat pretty well so I just need to stop being lazy and burn some calories!
We can do this!!!
P.S. yay date twins!!!

I go to the gym every other day and eat right. I have no expectations to lose weight as my body is broken (and confirmed by doctors!), but it would be so nice is suddenly, the weight started dropping off and making my always-sore body worth the hassle…

oh me! been trying to get off 60 lbs that I quickly gained due to a very stressful time for 4 yrs now and I always seem to lose 15 then put it back on….. can’t make it past that 15 lb mark
found out last week that I regained that 15 lb again! (I try to only weigh myself every few weeks bc I have a very bad history w weight) it was really hard to be honest since i have been keeping up w the gym etc. but I will admit to having a very splurgey week since I had a friend in town and we went out almost every night.
on monday I went back to south beach diet type (low fat and low carb) and I do see some differnce in my belly already but I need to stick to it! for me the first week is the easiest but then I get tired and bored of always saying no
