Awww you sound so much in love!

Fiance is 1 year and 3 months younger than me.

When our wedding rolls around I will be 29 and he will still be 27 till about a month after our wedding.

Not much of a difference, but my friends joke around about my younger man.

This is so awesome!  To answer the question, no, in my case, my Fiance is 5 years older.  But, I have dated men much younger than me, and I say Age is Just A Number!  I had a blast with younger men, they were so much fun.  I’m so happy for you!  I think the older woman/younger man dynamic (especially sexually) is absolutely wonderful.  Congratulations and the best of luck to you both!

I’m not into the 40’s yet, but I was 35 and my husband 29 when we got married 2 years ago.  πŸ™‚  Age is just a number, maturity is what makes the big difference and one of the many things I absolutely adore about my husband!!  πŸ™‚

My Fiance is 3 years younger than me and we’ve been dating for 5 years. He’s mature, level headed and thoughtful – which I think is all that matters

Yes, but only slightly πŸ™‚ He’s 355 days younger than me and people still joke about me being an older woman.

Congratulations on finding your perfect match and your upcoming wedding!

Yes, FH is 2 and a half years younger than I am. He just turned 40 and I’m 42 so there was a lot of good natured teasing about me being in another decade (until recently) and there is still teasing about being born in different decades (I’m a 60s chick and he’s 70s)! I also hear Sugarmama at times since I earn more atm. lol

I’m 38, Fiance is 27 and we’ve been together 4.5 years. When we got together I had a one-year-old son who he’s been raising as his own for about 4 years now. I walked away from a wedding the day before when I was 21, and it wasn’t until I met my Fiance that I didn’t have doubts about someone. We have an 18-month-old daughter together and he is a fantastic father and partner, every bit worth the wait! We joke about our age difference sometimes but most of the time we don’t even notice it. People are always surprised when they learn about our age difference, I guess it’s not noticeable to others either. Doesn’t hurt that when we first met I thought he was hot Wink.

I think it was the comedian Rita Rudner who said something to the effect of, “I used be told to marry an older man, they’re more mature. Now I know, men don’t mature, marry a young one!”

MrJ is about 1.5 years my junior.  Maddeningly, I’ll be 31 and he 29 when we wed.  He plays the responsible one most of the time, but we are very much alike.

Fiance is 27 and I’m 32, but hands down, he’s the more responsible and mature one.

@rosesarefree:  Love the Rita Rudner quote!
