Neither…we don’t have kids involved at all…partly because there are no kids really in the family/close friends and also because we don’t really want kids at the event…

@MrsSaltWaterTaffy: Can I ask how you worded your invitations to get the message across about no kids??  Thanks!!

We didn’t have them either.  We had 8 attendants and a 6 person honour guard, so there was already enough going on.

I dont know anyone young enough.

Considered my littleneighbour for a split second but its just not something for the wedding that is that important to me.

I also saved on the stress of not having two more ppl to get fitted and all that ๐Ÿ™‚

Nope! My nephews are too old for that, and I don’t know any little girls either.

we did and it was totally not necessary!  I had to buy them flowers, boutineers, a ring pillow, each of them gifts and invite them + their parents to the rehearsal dinner and lunch the morning of.  They had to purchase a dress & a mini suit and pay for little girl to get her hair done and come in town a day early!  They just stood there!  I’m sure they enjoyed it actually but it was a lot of effort and money for very little!

No, I don’t want to deal with children in the wedding!!  The best man will hold the rings.

We have a ring bearer (FI’s nephew..he’s 2 and adorable) but no flower girl. I don’t think it makes much of a difference. It’s a cute way to involve nieces, nephews, children etc but not necessary. Oh, and nephew’s mom will be walking with him down the aisle…I’d be a little nervous otherwise. ๐Ÿ™‚

We actually have too many kids in the family, and I can’t choose one over another. So we’re leaving them all out of it. I know no matter how it would go, there would be drama from the other mothers. I’m the first to get married in the family so I’m getting stress from everywhere!

No kids here either.  We will already have some petals sprinkled down the aisle before I walk down and the best man will be holding the rings.

Not a kid person in general, and no one who was coming to the wedding had kids in the right age range – we either have folks with babies or folks with teenagers so we just decided to skip the kids!

We aren’t. I have two little cousins young enough to be flower girls, but they have 5 other brothers and sisters so I certainly don’t want to send a message that some siblings are more important than others. And as for ring bearers there aren’t any boys young enough. Besides I feel like kids in the bridal party just adds a LOT of stress that I won’t be able to handle on the day of. I love kids, I work with kids, I just don’t feel like having to corral kids before I walk down the aisle.
