My Fiance absolutely doesnt want to see me before the ceremony. He doesnt even want to know anything about my dress. I totally get why people want to do the first look for pics, I just dont think its for us.

we’re going the traditional route, so he’ll see me first as I walk down the aisle. we are lucky to have a few hours between our ceremony and cocktail hour, though, so we don’t need to take pictures! I definitely agree that it will be a really special moment!

We didnt see each other at all before the ceremony either.  I had people on lookout to make sure we didnt run into each other taking pictures with our bridal parties and families.

He is not letting himself see me! He has no desire to see my dress (in pictures or in person) and he refused to do a first look.

I definitely agree that it adds to the anticipation. As a guest, there is something about watching the groom see the bride for the first time that makes me so excited. I am hoping for a few tears on his part ๐Ÿ™‚

My Fiance and I actually looked at dresses online together and narrowed it down to 5 we both really liked. I picked 1 of the 5 but he doesn’t know which one and won’t see it until our big day…unless he manages to steal a peek while on the plane or at the hotel.

Yes, our wedding is at 3pm and our reception is immediately after the ceremony so we have to do pics before the wedding. I think we’ll do the whole “reveal” thing. Also, I think I’ll be less nervous if I see him before I walk down the aisle!

@okqueenbee–your walk is much sooner than mine! I’m sure your wedding will be wonderful with nothing to be nervous about! ๐Ÿ™‚

He doesn’t want to see it or anything like it. He doesn’t want me to talk about it with him or anything. He really wants to be surprised.

He doesn’t want to see it at all until the ceremony, so I have no one to talk with about the dress! I can’t wait to see his face.

No way he is seeing my dress!! All he knows is the cost because we are both doing the budget.. He will see me when I walk down the aisle. I like that tradition ๐Ÿ™‚

He’s not going to see me beforehand, although I will admit this is causing me some stress over pictures since there’s no gap between our ceremony and reception! But I think it will be worth it…
