In college, we used to stir together sriracha and ranch dressing to make a delicious dip for various unhealthy snacks. These days I often find sriracha to be a bit too sweet, so I just mince a habanero or jalapeno into my cooking, but sometimes the rooster sauce is perfect. My husband and I like it when our food makes our foreheads sweat. ๐Ÿ™‚

I bought a bottle of that last week because Fiance is so in love with it.  He was getting so po’d when I’d bring home Thai and they forgot his “special sauce”.  I personally do not like it at alllll but he is obsessed!

That stuff is tasty. I love love love spicy food. We call it “rooster sauce” at my house, too, or sometimes we call it “(another name for rooster) sauce” teehee Embarassed

I thought you were talking about indian food there for a second.  Then I clicked on this thread and I realized what you were talking about.  Oh, yeah, that’s like ketchup in my family growing up… since we’re veitnamese.  But, yeah, I only have it in my house because of the DH.  I personally, don’t like spicy stuff.

Yeah, when ever I get thai take out, they ask me how spicy I want it. (from 1-5.. 5 being spicy-est (sp?)  I tell them 1.  They always ask me again, like they think I’m mistaken. lol
