that’s AMAZING! I’ve lost 10 pounds since Jan. I’ve been eating a lot of fruit and veggies, no fast food, smaller portions and better all around food choices. I’ve cut out soda so I stick to water, milk or juice. I’ve been going to the gym at my work which has been helping too. I’m hoping to lose another 10 by August and I would be really happy 🙂

Good for you! I lost 30+ last year and gained ten-ish back over Christmas and vacation. Must start dieting again. Ughh.

I’ve lost 80 pounds since last January, and now, I’m pretty much maintaining.  Future In-Laws gave us a recumbent bike, so I’m either on that everyday, or out for a walk.  I’ve also completely changed my eating habits – smaller portion sizes, minimizing junk food and switched from white bread/pasta/rice to whole wheat.

wow- great job!  i am trying to lose 20-30 before august.  I have always been a healthy eater but am re-evaluating how I eat because I just can’t seem to lose weight.  I just started doing 40/40/20 and  I think it will be just the thing.  Also Fiance said I can order an elliptical machine (in the past it was my favorite cardio machine at the gym, just hate the gym and can’t make myself go).  Additionally I am trying to do power yoga 3-4 times a week, which so far has really been changing my shape!  It also keeps me health minded.

Other than that I may try some Zumba!  I did Jillian Michaels videos in the past-even 30 DS but I saw no results-no inches changes, no weight changes, and no visual changes in before and after-guess it wasn’t for me.  Some said I didn’t eat enough calories during that time.  No idea.

I have been going to the gym everyday and I also signed up for Weight Watchers 5 weeks ago.  I have lost 7.8lbs since joining WW and I hope to lose about 10 more.

I have lost about 20 pounds by using Weight Watchers and Myfitnesspal. I’m mostly dieting but not doing much working out. I need to start toning, so I look good in my wedding dress.

@pittymama: Wow! Great job. You should be proud of yourself. I did 30DS before, but now I’m doing  her newer video, Ripped in 30, which is even harder! I recommend it for when you finish 30DS.

I am currently on an emergency last-minute loss kick because even though I’ve lost weight since I bought my dress (off the rack) and everyone said it fit perfectly then, and when I took it to the tailer at the end of January everyone said it fit perfectly and it looked perfect to me in the mirror, I tried it on last weekend and when I look at the pictures I really think it doesn’t look good, and I need to lose as much as possible now!!! AAAHHHH!!!

Awesome, good job!!!! I would like to lose a total of 45-50lbs and so far I’ve lost about 13lbs but haven’t lost (or gained) anything over the past few months. I’ve re-doubled my efforts and am trying to get down at least another 30 or so lbs by mid-August (my last fitting where I can alter my dress) I am also sticking to a roughly 1200-1300 calorie diet on myfitnesspal.com! I have a back injury so I can only walk for exercise right now and do some stretching and I have PT 2 times a week.

@Miss Orchard:  This is kinda my deadline too!  Wedding is August 12 and they said I could come for my last fitting 2-3 weeks before that.  I also am trying to lose 30lbs ideally.  Sigh.  I have definitely gotten more serious with it lately but it has been tough to lose even the littlest amount!  From the past I know that I can see progress by just being consistent in diet and exercise.  Good luck to us!

I started Crossfit December of 2011 and while I haven’t dropped many pounds, the shape of my body has changed in a positive way. I am stronger, have a greater cardiovascular ability and really look forward to going to my Crossfit! I need to get better with my diet to see faster results, but I am VERY dedicated to the gym! Congrats everyone on your success!

I lost 80 lbs between August and January (5.5 months) and the last 7 weeks have been a horrid challenge and I put back on about 15 (mostly watter weght which is easy to lose) so I am recommitting today to lose that which I regained, and another 70 or so by fall. Then I need to maintain it for a year (well, for life but a year until the wedding). I stopped eating all bad carbs, no sugar, flour, rice, pasta or processed foods and I kept an eye on bad fats and salt as well.

My wedding is in June. I’m going to start doing Insanity. If you don’t here from me for a while, don’t worry. I’ve probably just passed out.
