Awww I did month and months of cardio and strength toning and then fell down a dang hill and tore my meniscus. (Knee injury) It’s already been 3 weeks and I can’t do cardio for 4- 6 weeks and my wedding is only another 8 weeks away! I watched all my hard work and muscle tone disappear in just 3 weeks! I have no choice now that I can’t do anything but sit around to be on VLC (Very low Calories) to lose the last 8 lbs in 8 weeks. It was just 6 lbs I gained 2 lbs of fat and lost 4 lbs of muscle in 3 weeks UNREAL. Sorry for the vent but all in all YES I am on a strict diet as well. J

I’ve lost 32 pounds since October 2011 and I like where I am now, so I am just maintaining by keeping track of my calories on My Fitness Pal & excerising regularly!

Yes, I appear to be on a strictly pizza based diet right now 🙁 And my goal is to still fit into my dress when the time comes.

Starting tomorrow I HAVE TO start an extensive diet and exercise plan. I am not “big” but, I have a very small frame and excess weight on my frame. I have gained about 30 pounds in the last 3 years and I would love to lose it before the wedding. It’s only 12 weeks away so I doubt I can lose the full 30 but, even if I could lose 15 and tone up I would be happy. At this point I am more concerned about being comfortable on the honeymoon than looking good on my wedding day because what bride doesn’t look amazing thanks to their happy glow? It definitely won’t be easy but I am going to give it my all.

I’ve got 18 months to go now and I’ve started properly this week. I’m currently 140lbs and I’d like to go down to anything between 120 and 126 (although the numbers don’t bother me really – I just want to be firmer all over and lose the bloated tum!)
I’ve been doing Zumba since before Christmas and whilst I haven’t noticed any weight loss, I have noticed that my thighs have firmed up quite a bit, and my stamina has gotten MUCH better!
This girl is an amazing source of inspiration and I’m defnintely going to do weights because of her. Check her out!
Her before and afters are INCREDIBLE and the biggest inspiration ever. She achieved those results in just over a year.

I have lost over 60lbs over the past year and a half with the help of better food choices, smaller portions, less sweets (my weakness). Mygoal is to lose another 10-15lbs before the wedding in July. Right now I’m trying to focus on less refined sugar, lots of fruits and veggies and tons of water (an added bonus is my skin now looks so much better). Most of my weight loss was done with excercise which reaffirmed for me that diet is such a huge piece (but think working out is just so good for overall health no matter what for weight or size is). About a month ago I began Bar Method classes (mixture of Pilates, ballet and yoga – lots of interval training)and it has truly changed my life and body. I’m starting to build lean muscle and have definition I never had before (arms, butt, thighs). It is expensivd but my one pre-wedding splurge. They also have DVD videos if any one else is interested in trying it!

I’ve lost a little over 20 lbs, but want to lose a few more before the wedding and tone up! I just joined myfitnesspal, and I have been doing p90x and running. I’ve been watching what I eat for the most part, but that part I need to work on!! Want to lose a good bit, but I still want my dress to fit when I get it! SO yeah 🙂

I want to lose a little bit of weight before our wedding in September – about 10-15 lbs. It doesn’t sound like much, but when you have a small frame like mine, that’s all it takes to make an enormous difference in the way clothes fit and what I can wear now. I want to be toned and fit in my wedding dress, and can’t stand that I have had to buy new jeans (stupid office job, making me sit all day!)
I have Jillian Michaels 30DS but I can’t seem to do it for more than a couple days. I hate working out more than basically anything on this planet, so it’s hard for me to even get my butt out of bed for 25 minutes in the morning and do a workout. *sigh* Maybe one day I’ll be able to have enough encouragement/determination to get it done! haha!

@DaisyCrazy82: Very excellent. The shape change is huge! I have learned this the hard way. I haven’t really dropped weight in the past couple months but I have firmed up and my shape is different. It’s the way you hold yourself-so that is all good stuff.
You are hardcore! I wish I could cut out sugar completely! I do pretty well with carbs in general but especially refined carbs but I just can’t keep away from sugar. I just started watching my fat like a hawk. Cheers!
Sorry about your injury-that sucks. But on the bright side I think it is possible for you to lose some weight still, though it sucks about the tone. I am sure you look marvelous in your dress anyway. The nice thing about being a girl is that it is ok to be soft instead of super-buff, you just look like a lovely lady. Don’t sweat it. Also I am sure you can do upper body stuff which is a major plus! Good luck!

@aheavel: You and me both. I am smaller than I think I am but covered in all this fluff. Really hoping to lose 30 by august but would also be stoked for about 20. Inches matter the most.
I am interested in Bar Method-thanks for mentioning it! Will look up the dvds.
I am not a fan of working out either. You definitely have to find something you really like. I did Jillian’s stuff for a while but really it is just something I visit now and again when I feel like something different or a challenge. I LOVE dancing and yoga so that is what I try to focus on. Oh, and biking and swimming. You don’t have to do anything that is labeled as a workout-just get moving enough to lose your breath a bit. Doing that consistently makes a major difference-trust me. Also, I hate mornings so I always work out in the evening. Good luck!

@goldendreams: The funny thing is, quitting sugar is hard for the 1st week, after that, when I go back to it at all, it makes me physically sick. Headaches, vomitting, just all around feeling awful. Sugar is toxic stuff for our bodies, and yet we consume it in massive quantities.
