I just changed my veil less than 2 months out. I changed invites, dinner menus, and other things I am sure. You are not alone.

Yes  i changed my mind. At first i wanted modern and i was going to incorporate blacks. Now im going traditional and elegant with laces and pearls and no black at all.

Yeah, I am changing my mind on several different aspects of my wedding. I feel kind of bad for doing it, but eh, I am not surprised, I am a fickle person like that.

We recently decided to change the whole wedding! Just realized it was getting wayyyy to expensive, and wasn’t what I wanted at all.

We were originally planning a modern wedding, in a super fancy hotel with 50 guests. We’ve now decided on a historic Edwardian style hotel in Niagara on the Lake with maybe the original guestlist of 50, but might change it to 20 guests of closest family and friends. Were going in a very different direction. With the new venue change, I feel like my original modern and classic dress doesn’t really fit the venue so I’m leaning towards changing it. Because of the venue change, I’ve also tweaked the colour scheme and theme. I think it’s only natural to second guess big decisions, and seeing inspiration only makes you question your decisions even more.

Yes…constantly.  But mostly around my bridal party gear.  I wish someone could come over here and lay it all out for me.  The bee gives me lots of suggestions but it’s just so hard to picture in my head.

@icetea:  I’m having the biggest issue with my bridal party decisions as well! I cant seem to find a good idea for a shrug or faux fur for the girls and its driving me nuts and in my head i am also constantly saying “tick tock Joanna! Make some decisions!!!” I also havent picked out the flower girl dress!!! I feel like all of the flower girl dress styles are clashing with my dress! :O( Over the passed fews year, after meeting my fiance, I realized that I do deserve to have things done a certain way and not just make fast decisions and not be happy about it in the end. I just wish there wasnt such a short time line on things when ordering! :O(

I keep having trouble with my accessories. I was sure I knew what I wanted for months but now that the wedding is getting closer I’m becoming indecisive about my shoes, headpiece, hair, flowers… argh.

This thread makes me feel better. There are so many brides who seem completely certain about what they want and once they make decisions they dont second guess themselves. i was starting to wonder what was wrong with me!!

i cant believe i get so stuck on little decisions – im stuck on which of two soups to choose. both would be great but which would be better? why does it matter so much? etc and so forth!!

then flowers, bridesmaids gifts, and every other decision. BLEUGH

@ingeborgslilly:  id love to take snapshots too. as helpful as pinterest is, i really wish i could have snapshots, real flowers, material samples etc all in front of me!

I have chaanged all my design details- color of the dress, color scheme, bridesmaids dresses, flowers… I think we brides have so much time to plan these weddings (well, a lot of us) that sometimes our tastes just change! Or you do what I did and get a champagne colored dress which doesn’t coordinate well with ANYTHING.

I have changed my mind about a few of the small details.  The larger details like color and dress have been set in my mind for years.

I went back and forth about my shoes until I finally decided and then stuck…even when I couldn’t find the perfect ones, I made the ones I did find suit my needs.

I am not sure how to do escort cards now…second guessing my original idea  and now re-thinking one of the favors.  Also not sure what to do about napkins (rent, buy or make).  And not sure if I am doing personalized bm tanks or if I want a reception dress anymore.  Ugh…. and I have like 3 weeks to go.
