Gotta love a bargin, these rings are gorgeous and don’t cost an arm and leg. I love all rings, pricey ones, inexpensive it doesn’t matter. As long as it reflects your needs and wants.

Mine was $800ish, a claddaugh from Ireland. And my wedding band was $120 (I just got a simple gold band)

We got my ring at Kohl’s it was marked down from just under $900 & then we even had a coupon, he ended up paying just over $250 for it… I absolutely love it, and he doesn’t make a whole bunch of money right now so getting engaged was more important than waiting years to get an expenisve ring.

My awesome man got my ring as an estate piece. Because it was an estate piece he paid 1,200 for a 5,000 ring. I love it even more because he bargin shopped. I love a good deal.

@cyndistar3: I love the simplicity of your set! Very elegant.

@ingeborgslilly: Haha no shame in shopping at Walmart if they’ve got what you want.

I looked everywhere for the perfect ring. My fiance told me he was getting worried; he called me obsessed, lol. At one point he even told me I could spend a bunch more if it would make it easier, but I told him not to worry about it because I had secretly already looked at pricier rings (planning to pay the difference myself) in hopes of finding “the one.” Unfortunately, more money usually just means more/bigger stones, and that is not what I wanted at all. I love engraving/etching/filigree work, so it was the band that was important to me.

Eventually, I found this $85 silver ring on Etsy that had this fabulous unique floral design. I had it cast in 24k and added a ruby. The total price ended up being $400. Honestly, I couldn’t be happier. It’s way more gorgeous than I imagined (the colors!,) and I’m pleased that I had a hand in making it a tiny bit more special.

@windego:

I’m a big fan of rubies, I think your ring is beautiful!  I love the warm, rich colors of red and yellow gold.  I always say, if I could go back and do things all over again…I would’ve picked something like that!
