My SO and I have been working on a ring with a local jeweler. It’s kind of been on on-going thing since last fall since we went, then took a couple months to decide what we really wanted. Then went back. Then we picked some things, changed some things. (Dragging on and on). You get the idea!
Anyways, the ring should be ready sometime this month!! I am so excited. For a couple days I thought that since I “know” it’s almost ready I can feel more relaxed since the time is close. But who was I kidding…I am not relaxed. I am thinking about it a LOT. Picturing it on my hand. Staring at the calendar trying to imagine which day it might be ready. Wondering what he will say when he proposes. (I know, the waiting is making me all silly!) I just want to shout from the rooftops that I am thrilled to soon be engaged to my amazing man & can’t wait to spend my life with him. However, I am keeping all shushed up. And am not going to start any ring/proposal convos with my SO lest I ruin something or get too excited and faint. Hahaha. Good thing this is going to be a busy month at work, a distraction will be good 🙂
Any other Bee’s pretty sure that March is going to be your big month??

embee5: Fingers crossed for a March proposal! Today he was at my house and randomly asked to pick a nail polish color for me to use (he has never done this) and asked if I would like my family involved in the proposal “when it happens”

I am! My man hinted that he orderder the ring. I’m leaving on long trip in the beginning of april and he better propose before that! 🙂 Although, he is saying that it is going to happen this summer.

embee5: I am in the same boat! Ring shopping took forever and now we are just waiting for the ring to come in (and of course for him to pop the question!!) I can hardly contain myself either. It is so hard to not keep it quiet from everyone. I’m like a child the night before Christmas, EVERY day, lol. Hopefully soon for both of us. It takes all the willpower left in me to not call the jeweler for an update on the ring! For all I know he could already have it. Eeeeeks!!

Crossing my fingers as well! He’s actually had it since end of JANUARY! I didn’t consider myself “waiting” before he got it but I definitely turned into a crazy waiting bee once I knew it was in our apartment! I knew that it wasn’t going to happen right after and February was extremely slim (we had one free weekend where both of us were in town). I’m actually going to be out of town next weekend so I’m *hoping* that it happens March 14th weekend!
I loved that I was able to choose my ring with him (and I don’t think I would have wanted a ringless proposal), but I don’t like how antsy I have become waiting. It’s at the point where it’s starting to not be fun right now because of how anxious I am and I hate that I’m feeling that way because it’s not fair to him.

I know he has the ring and im quite certain that he will propose on our anniversary… the 19th … eeek! Its getting so close!!!

I had a March proposal last year (our anniversary is March 25). The date is so sentimental. I wish we could have gotten married on that date but the weather in New England is so crappy/chaotic in March.

I’m hoping for one as well! We looked at rings a few times last month and I know he ordered the one I liked about two weeks ago. It should be done getting sized by now, and I’d bet he already has it hidden in the house somewhere. Our anniversary is the 10th, but I know he wants to try to surprise me so maybe before or after. The waiting is driving me nuts! It’s my birthday the 26th and we’re also getting a puppy the 16th. March is the best!

My SO’s had the ring in our apartment for about a month now, and our timeline is currently “by the time he graduates”, which is hopefully May 2016, WHICH I am more than okay with. But today, I was telling him that I might get my nails done before we leave for a trip we have planned to our hometown during spring break, and he said “Oh good!” He was probably kidding; I replied with “Oh shut up” but you never know!

I am hopeful that he will propose this month since his bday is 3/5 , our anniversary is 3/10, and my birthday is 3/25. We will be going to his family’s for his sisters babyshower on 3/14. However, I am also trying to not get my hopes up because we have been busy moving and he has had the ring I custom designed for almost 2 years now. Not sure what he is waiting for anymore.

Not sure at all because we had both agreed to discussing engagement come summer but he has recently dropped a few pretty clear hints and now it’s sounding like late March (blushblushblush)! I am not banking on it all all but I would be lying so hard if I said I didn’t have crazy butterflies about the possibility!!
