Just wanted to see if anyone had read the book Mars and Venus on a Date by John Gray who also wrote the infamous Men are from Mars, Women are from Venus?
I read it a while back when I was at University because I was going through a tough time dating someone that I was falling for but was giving me mixed signals every which way. It helped me understand men in the dating stages back then, and even though there was a whole chapter on getting to engagement I overlooked it as I’d never got to that level in a relationship. Until now.
I found my copy boxed up the other day and gave it a look over, which gave me new insight to where my relationship is now. While its a bit dated, it was first published back in 1997, I highly recommed it and there is even a chapter called “When the clock starts ticking and he’s not wearing a watch“- Which basically talks about why men don’t rush to the engagement level in a relationship and what you can do to help the situation. Some of which I think mirrors Mr.Bees plan.
If your passing a bookshop or fancy reading it, check it out. It’s given me a bit of relief as waiting fever steps up a notch.
