I’m pleased it’s over – I’m not much of a social person, so it was a bit daunting to have to be so social to so many folks I haven’t seen in a while. It was a fun time, though.
I didn’t FEEL stressed, but I guess my body was a bit. I started having stomach troubles on the wedding night, and then spent the evening after the wedding in the ER getting antibiotics via IV for a stomach bug (not food poisoning, just a bad virus). We were leaving for our honeymoon the next morning, so they gave me four perscriptions to help me during the travel there. The ride there SUCKED (we flew from Louisiana to Jamaica), but I felt better after a couple of days. Once the honeymoon was over, we spent two days cleaning the wedding out of the house. Once that was done and we were back to work, I was happy to be back to regular life.

I am relieved the planning aspect is over. I am sad that the actual wedding is over. Now, I don’t know what to do with myself. I have no appointments or phone calls to make. I don’t have to keep checking my calendar 24/7 or check my to-do list. I have been sleeping better, and not having nightmares about the wedding. My thank you cards were put in the mail yesterday, so when Darling Husband and I get back from our honeymoon, I won’t have that to deal with.

I’m glad to don’t have to worry about planning anymore, but I feel a little lost at the same time. Just been trying to adjust to married and non-wedding planning life in the last several weeks.

I was so relieved to get back to a normal routine after the wedding and honeymoon. It’s so nice to not have something wedding related to worry about!

Yup, I have no post-wedding sadness at all (other than wishing the day had been longer)! 🙂 Thank god it’s over.

I hear you. It was a wonderful day, but I’m so thrilled that it’s all over!

We were both so happy when the last wedding detail was taken care of a few days before the wedding. Now that all is said and done w/the wedding and honeymoon, we are soooooooooooooo happy to have this thing called “free time” back! I had fun, everything turned out better than expected, but now we have time to play Arkham City, I can pick up my photography hobby again, and we can just relax without feeling like there is something else we should be doing. Of course, there are the thank you cards, but we’re taking our time with those.
