I just try to believe there’s a reason for everything.
If we make it, we make it because we’re both genuinely committed to one another and our union..If we don’t, then one or both of us has broken the vows we made to each other and the marriage wasn’t meant to last.
I don’t say that to be fatalistic, it’s just how I feel.
I think generally in this day and age of instant gratification, it’s difficult to keep a long term partnership thriving.

of course I am terrified from time to time, but it has nothing to do with my Fiance. In fact when I think about him when I start to get lost in statistics I feel much more comforted. Fiance and I aren’t quitters and although I can’t guarantee that we won’t fall in that statistic I have comfort that we will get it all we’ve got.
Its just hard to read that people just KNOW its not going to be them. Even when some have gone through it before and they just KNOW it won’t be like that this time. Life is so unpredictable and its not always about us and or abilities. Its completely legit to be cautious and its not terrible that none of us know without any doubt what our future holds.

Sometimes I do get really nervous about divorce rates…My Fiance has been engaged twice before me and that scares me too…But I just remember that we are in this for the long haul but if something does occur I would be hurt but I really pray that we will be able to work thru anything together…
