Yes. Terrified! That moment when everyone turns around ::nausea:: That being said, I’m hoping the day of I’ll be so busy that nerves won’t really be a factor. I’m the same way, totally fine w/ marriage, nervous about the spotlight! AHH!

Same here- I can not wait but I want to sop up this planning time because it will soon be over!

Haha I’m not terrified, but I am nervous. I’ll be 27 in a couple of months. I keep thinking about walking down the aisle and I nearly burst into tears the other day thinking about everyone staring at me!

Heck yes, I’m scared! Everyone is going to be looking at me (I am the bride, afterall). I will be expected to be happy and energetic all day. When I’m the center of attention, I tend to assume everyone is judging me (my hair, dress, shoes, veil, venue, ceremony, reception decisions, etc). It’s a lot of freaking stress and pressure. Totally worth it (although sometimes I wonder if we should have eloped, I’m glad we didn’t), but I am freaking nervous about the wedding part. Marriage part = SO EXCITING!

It didn’t occu to me until the morning of that everyone would be staring at me. And I freaked out. But it went quickly, and I didn’t trip, so I guess it was ok.

Does feet feeling like huge ice cubes give you a clue? I am scared, nervous, and have extreme anxiety. I just prayed to be calm but I noticed that if it gets too overwhelming I have a drink but I cant do that too many times because I dont want to become a alcoholic…lol I have a year to wait and I can do a lot drinking between now and then…hahahaha

I have such a wonderful hubby. He knew I was nervous, so he started making faces at me to make me laugh! It helped so much! I’m just pissed off my photographers didn’t catch any of it!

I wasn’t scared of getting married at all, but when I had to walk down a set of stairs to get to my ceremony (with everyone waching me), I freaked out!

I’m dislike attention, so there’s no aisle haha. No family. Just close friends. We’re having a reception with them, but I couldn’t deal with the attention during vows.

people askme is I’m nervous, scared? Why would I be? I am leaving my single days behind and walking down the aisle to start the next phase og my life with someone I waited for a long time.
I can’t wait and am EXCITED AND THRILLED!
Is is a big deal, yep! Is it a big change, yep! But life is always a journey and I can wait to take those steps into the unknown!

i am also scared of the bit where everyone turns around to stare at me, but i am sure on the day after i get over the initial “OH MY GOD THEY’RE ALL LOOKING AT ME” moment, i will just see my Fiance at the end of the aisle and want to run down it! I am not too concerned about the first dance, my attention will be completely on my husband at that point I am sure 🙂
i am terrified of public speaking so i refuse to make a speech, so my Fiance will be doing that 🙂 and if i was doing a speech THAT would be the moment i would dread most

I am extremely scared of walking down the aisle!! My “aisle” is a wood bridge that goes over a pond…as in wood planks with a LOT of grooves where they meet and I’m in heels which I rarely wear. I keep having nightmares that my heel will get caught between the planks on the way down, I try to jerk my foot free, overdoing it and end up swimming…so yea, I can TOTALLY relate!!
