Is that you in the dress? Dynamite!! That dress looks fantastic on you!!! I have insane dress regret – I understand that going home and seeing it in grainy cell phone pix regret – but I promise you that it will not look like a grainy cell phone pic dress on the day of the wedding! I don’t know what aspect of it you’re questioning, but it’s a beautiful dress and looks amazing on you.

You might try it with a sash or belt. If what you’re not liking is that it doesnt nip in at the waist enough (which is pretty common before alterations) or that it lacks pizzaz, this could fix both problems. But chances are, getting alterations done will fix any problems you might have. You look like you have a good figure, and it’s a lovely dress. Plus, as a style I think it’s going to be one that’s going to be really easy to make shorter. If not, three-inch heels really aren’t that bad if you’re used to them, especially if they have a bit of a platform. I wear them every day to the office ๐Ÿ˜€

I think it looks lovely and shows off your figure perfectly, it made you cry, you obviously love it in person. I agree with PPs though, grainy cell phone pics may be the prime cause of dress regret. If you are really seriously thinking you don’t like it, go try on the sample again and reconfirm.

I agree that a sash is not always a perfect go-to fix. The lace looks very intricate and I don’t think a sash would look good personally. However, I agree that alterations nipping in the waist will make a big difference. Alterations can make a world of difference, wait to see how you feel after that.

I think you look very gorgeous in your dress. There is no reason y U should have dress regret. I did, however, have dress regret and ended up buying a new dress but that was because the first dress I purchased was before I had made any kind of decisions (budget, venue, wedding colors). So as those things started coming together I realized this wasn’t the dress and bought a new dress. I couldn’t be happier with my new dress. It REALLY reflects my personality.

@Miltie:  It’s a wedding sympton and trust me it gets worse. So far I have purchased 2 dresses, 2 petticoats, and now Im thinking I need purple shoes when my ivory shoes just came in yesterday (the wedding is supposed to be peach and purple now). I’ve changed my colors 5 million times and I think I’ve burned everyone out with wedding talk. At this point Im tiring myself out as well. I have to literally stop and take a deep breath and go do something else non-wedding related. What helps me is trying to K.I.S.S. (keep it sweet and simple).

@Miltie:  I love this dress! You look gorgeous ๐Ÿ™‚ Now that you’re a size 4, you may be happier with how your waist looks in it… Wait until you have it altered to your size… I don’t think you need a sash at all, but if it makes you feel prettier and more confident, then it’s definitely an option ๐Ÿ™‚ but I wouldn’t make that decision until after you have alterations done ๐Ÿ™‚ you look beautiful!
