I seen is Friday with one of my girlfriends and I thought it was hilarious. The only thing that was too much for me was the result of the food poisoning becasue I’m scared of throw up.

I saw it!! I’ve been dying to talk to it with someone other than the girls I saw it with. My favorite scene by far was the bathroom incident.

I could not stop laughing at that–and the bridal shower meltdown as well. When I saw that sign for the  Party favors that said  Puppies- please just take one (or something like that) I lost it.

Great movie!

Well, I TRIED to organize a trip with me and all my BMs to go on Saturday afternoon.  But then my sister offered to drive (and I was totally willing to let her since I had been driving in hellish traffic all morning).  We pulled up to on of my BM’s houses to pick her up, and she said “I’m sorry, we’re not going to the movie.”

It was a surprise bridal shower. Tongue out

Later I told them they were “welcome for my providing you with such a clever excuse to get me out of the house.”

I saw it with Fiance, he wasnt excited to see it because he expected it to be a typical chick flick but he loved it and so did I!

Fiance and I saw it over the weekend and I was pretty disappointed. I thought it was advertised as being much more hilarious than it actually was. In fact, if not for Melissa McCarthy’s character, I don’t think this movie had a prayer.

There were some funny bits, but I expected it to be “The Hangover” funny, and it didn’t even come close. I was sad Cry

@calpolyvanessa: I saw it this weekend with a couple of friends. I can totally relate to Kristen Wiig’s Annie as the maid of honor dealing a “Helen.” I had to deal with one for my best friend’s wedding who constantly kept on trying to be the maid of honor when she wasn’t. Melissa McCarthy was so awesome in the movie. The air marshall guy is her real life husband!

OH!!! I cannot wait to see it! I love Kristen Wigg, she is pretty much the funniest female actress right now 🙂 She also reminds me of my grade school bff. seriously, they have a lot in common. they kind of look a like and same sense of humor. TOO FUNNY!

I was going to skip this one because I can not stand Kristin Wig on SNL.  But it sounds like I should go see it, huh???  Please tell me she isn’t super annoying in it!!

@heathaah: She’s not at all annoying in this movie. Some of her SNL skits get annoying and boring, but she’s completely different in this movie. The late Jill Clayburgh was great in the movie too. I loved this movie and haven’t laughed that hard in a theater in a long time.

There is a scene near the end where the two female leads are talking about how scared they are of how a marriage will impact their friendship. I saw the movie with my lifelong best friend and current roommate, and we both said afterward that it struck a chord with us. We’re each contemplating marriage to our respective partners within the next year or so, and it would be rather bittersweet if we make the decision to do so. I love that this movie managed to be hilarious while getting the portrayal of female friendship SO RIGHT.

@sarasouth: I loved that the movie was so realistic about women’s friendships and the perspective of the maid of honor dealing with all sorts of personality types during the stress of the wedding. For me, the movie hit home on so many levels. Also, loved the Milwaukee/Chicago shoutout! My husband and I go between Milwaukee and Chicago to see my parents in Milwaukee about every couple of weeks.
