I’ve seen it, but I personally don’t like it. I think it takes away from the nature of the wedding and makes it almost… comical. Like how not to fall asleep? I get that it’s trying to be humerous, but I don’t find it funny

@alishaloo:  I can see that, especially if you are planning something that needs explaning. I just read through the whole thing, the first time I just glanced at it and was like meh, next, and it is pretty comical. I think guests would definatly need an explanation about the cupcakes on the table, cash bar, and dice that need to be rolled to kiss. I think the thing I like the most about this program is the reference to the favors. How cool would that be?!

@Lacelibs:  Yeah, I agree. I am constantly joking around most of the time, but in my experience, people generally are in the mood for unabashed sincerity at weddings. I think it’s kind of funny, but I wouldn’t do it at my wedding.

I think that program is obnoxious, in so many ways.

I love it! Sounds like it was just right for this couple’s wedding. It might be confusing or off-putting for a more conventional wedding.

I think its great for a casual off beat wedding.  I’d probably edit it a little- things like changing the cover from saying “a practical guide to not falling asleep” to “a practical guide to winning at our wedding aka having the best time ever”.
