I am so there!  If I make it 5 more months until my wedding, I will be lucky.  My hair is almost to the bottom of my shoulder blades and it is driving me crazy!!  I usually keep it shoulder length, but when it’s this long, I just don’t know what to do with it.

Stick with it though, it will be worth it!

YES!

I am trying very hard to grow out my hair but my hair is also very thick so it makes styling and all that much more of a pain. I also used to dye my hair a ton and so I am trying to also grow it out so I can have my natural untouched hair back. My aunt usually does my hair so when I get the urge to dye it or have someone cut it I will call her and she will do a trim or style it for me so I wont touch it.

It sounds like we have the same length hair, thats probably it. The awkward length haha. C’mon and get long already!

I usually wear mine in a ponytail and keep it just above shoulder length…it is now mid-blade length and I am going crazy…it’s heavy and it hurts to wear my hair up. Alas, I am a nurse so it is not practical to have my hair down. I am doing deep treatments too, but I am still finding splitting ends. 🙁 it will be worth it, it will be worth it…it will be worth it…will it?

I haven’t had my hair really cut since LAST Christmas.  I’ve been trying to grow my bangs out since then.  Around July I went with Fiance to his barber, and after complaining about my 7 months worth of split ends, the guy offered to quickly clip them off.  Despite repeatedly telling him NOT to touch my bangs, he snipped at least half an inch there too.  My hair grows sooooo slowly – that was like 3 months down the drain.

Since then I’ve been afraid of even a simple trim and will not be cutting my hair (which is currently about 2-3″ past my bra strap, bangs to about my lips) till after the honeymoon at which point I’ll be getting myself a nice low-maintenance chin-length bob.  I HATE my hair right now!!

Mine is longer than it’s been in years and it’s driving me mad! Still 10 months to go to the wedding and I definitely want it as long as possible so I have plenty of options.

Eeek, I feel your pain! My hair is the longest it has ever been in my life at the moment. I’m trying not to go all Britney on my hair and shave it off!

Mine is longer than usual and I’m looking forward to cutting it in April but one thing I discovered when I had a hair/make up trial (for an updo) last month is that it is too long!  The hairstylist had a tough time since my hair is pretty thick and it’s so long so I’ll probably trim a few inches off a few weeks before the wedding to bring it from 4-5 inches past my shoulders to 2ish inches past my shoulders.  Something to think about – you may not need all that hair for your wedding hairstyle!

I am totaly in the same boat. I have excedingly curly hair and it never looks as long as it actualy is so I have been growing it out since Nov 2007(!) to make sure I have the only requested thing from my fiancee for the wedding. BUT I don’t know if I can stand it much longer lot alone the 5 months it is till the wedding!

Yes!  I have super-thick hair that I’ve been growing out since I got engaged almost 2 years ago!  It’s about halfway down my back now and I am SO EXCITED to cut it off in six months.  It’s just so unmanageable and heavy.  It looks beautiful (tooting my own horn haha) but definitely difficult to take care of.

Yes, mine is also driving me crazy.  I have been trying to regularly get a trim and I believe once I do that in the next month I will feel much better about it plus I need to get my highlights done.  I am waiting until next month when I will have the money to pay for both.

I am dying to cut mine – I normally keep it just above shoulder length and it is now at the middle of my upper back and I REALLY want to cut it! Am I going to make it 8 more months?

Yes!  Its only a few inches below my shoulders but its longer than I’ve had it in about 8 years and it is driving my crazy!  All of my friends keep remarking on how long it is and how different I look, which I guess is good.  Only 3 and a half months to go though!
