I usually spot a few days before AF is due but it’s always at the same time every month! Anyone else spot before there AF is due? I have a dr’s appt this Monday and I am going to address this to my dr, hopefully it is not something to worry about!

Spotting before AF is completely normal. It can only be a problem if the time between the day you ovulate and the day your period starts is less than 10 days (some people say 12 or less). If you are keeping track of when you ovulate if you start spotting after 11 days you should be fine.

Like wandering_gypsy said, it’s generally not a cause for concern unless you already have a short luteal phase, or unless you have a lot of days of spotting. I sometimes have 1-2 days before full-on AF starts, and I’m not concerned about it. Definitely something to discuss with your doctor, though! They can likely set your mind at ease about it.

i started spotting as soon as we started TTC. It has ranged from 2-5 days prior to AF coming. gyn didn’t seem too concerned. I had my progesterone levels checked to cofirm I ovulate and I do.
