I take off my engagement ring if I’m just in the house. It’s gorgeous and I don’t want to wreck it. I don’t wear it to sleep, cook, clean, shower or unless I’m leaving the house. I’m so worried I’ll damage it.
My wedding band is a plain metal band – no diamonds, just plain – so I didn’t have to ever worry about it. I wear it everywhere, for everything – it never leaves my finger.

I never take my ring off.

I have always taken my rings and any other jewelry off right when I get home and if I don’t have plans to go anywhere, I put on pjs! Sometimes I will leave my ring on for a little bit while Fiance is home because he likes to see me wearing it. Occasionally when I am feeling sentimental I will sleep with my ring on but I usually get irritated in the middle of the night at having something pokey on my finger and put it on the night stand in a half dazed state.

I usually take it off when I get home and change into comfy clothes. If we’re staying home all day, I don’t usually think about putting it back on until the next time we are about to leave the house.
Though as I’m sitting here looking at it, my wedding band looks even more sparkly by itself. I wonder if I can justify wearing ONLY the wedding band without the engagement ring?

I used to take my e-ring off a lot because I was not a ring person. But it kept irritating my larger knuckle when I took it on and off, so I tried leaving it on all the time. Turns out I totally got used to wearing it, and I love admiring it any time I want (privately and shamelessly 😉 I’ve gotten to love my ring so much I got myself a right hand ring too, which I always wear!!!

@jessyrez: I take mine off and put it back on constantly when I am home. I clean constantly, I have a 2 year old, I am working on crafts, or cooking. I cannot stand my ring being gross.

@jessyrez: I almost never wear my e-ring at home. One so I don’t knock it around, but two because the milgrain starts to irriatate my other fingers. I can wear it a good 12 hours before it starts to get annoying, but after that I just need it off.

I take all of my jewlery off as soon as I get home. My skin is sensitive & it bugs me to have it on when I’m home relaxing.

Yeah, I do too. But then I don’t wear jewelry in the house, I never have.

@jessyrez: I take my promise ring off anytime I’m inside the house. I don’t wear jewelry though, so I take out my earrings and take off my ring almost as soon as I walk in the door. I don’t anticipate doing anything differently with my e-ring, except I’ll put it in a better spot…probably back in the box it came in daily until I get something else.
I just find having the ring on at home uncomfortable. between my fingers always gets dry and chapped from work (I work with money & I always feel gross so I wash my hands & use hand sanitzer A LOT) and they always start peeling. If I walk even to my car and notice my ring isn’t on, it feels weird all day WITHOUT it lol

I have not taken off my engagement ring since I got it 4 months ago, with the exception of a few engagement photos taken of my ring by itself. I only plan to take it off for cleaning. I dont understand the point of taking off your rings unless its a safety issue. It took some getting used to, but I’m okay with that!

@jessyrez: I don’t take them off for anything.

I either take mine off when I get home, or when I am getting settled for the night. I love my ring, but I’ve never been a big jewelry person, and it just feels more comfy with it off.

I do. I very rarely wear jewelry at home. I think I wore my engagement ring for about a month straight right after he proposed. after that, it came off along with my other jewelry and my work clothes as soon as I walk in the door.

I do! I worry about it getting gucky when I’m cooking, cleaning, taking a shower, etc.
