ME! Hence why we always always use at least 2 forms of protection and have a strict policy against having sex while either of us is drunk. It might seem extreme to some people but we’re really really serious about not wanting kids right now!

I’m not terrified to the point of having nightmares or anything, but it does make me really nervous! 2 of my mom’s 3 children were unplanned pregnancies while she was on BCP, so even though I’m really good about taking my pill, it is a pretty scary thought.

I have dreams about giving birth on a fairly regular basis. They freak me out. I want kids in 5 years, not now.

Yes! We’ve been together almost 7 years and married for almost two, but always use 2 forms of BC. I cannot even fathom having a child right now, but I also wouldn’t get an abortion – it would be nuts. I have those dreams sometimes too and have to wake up and remember that my life is just how I left it last night… lol

Only due to the fact that I just bought my dress and it won’t fit if I’m four months along. Other than that, I’d love to have kids, like, yesterday.

Nah, my only fear about getting pregnant is that the type of contraception I use (Mirena) makes it more likely that I’d have an ectopic pregnancy.

I’m starting to think about NTNT in the next few months though.

@SpecialSundae:  I was worried about that when I had it.

It has actually developed into a phobia for me, I am trying to get a TL asap because I am tired of the feelings of anxiety that come with making love to my husband. It shouldnt be that way.

I am really scared of accidentally getting pregnant, I take the pill like clockwork, around the same time every night (within half an hour). We also each still live at home with our parents, I am currently unemployed, starting a masters next year, he is working full time but not getting paid all that much, and will be finishing that job in February so he can start his undergrad degree.

All that being said I would still keep the baby, I would not have an abortion, no way no how, and I couldn’t bear to give he/she up.

YES!!!! Right now my FI  Darling Husband (still getting used to that!!!) is trying to get a job that would send him away for a long period of time, and I am in a very demanding course in school (with a 4 year old at home to take care of, too!). We REALLY could not have a baby in the next 2 years and sometimes I get scared of getting pregnant when we are being intimate 🙁

ETA: I am on BC and if we were to have a “happy accident” it would not be the end of the world, it would just make life SOOO much more difficult. We would like to start TTC in 2.5-3 years.

I don’t believe in “accidentally” getting pregnant so no, I’m not terrified. I wish I could have a kid but in no way are we financially capable right now.
