So my e-ring started off as a solitaire (which I always said I wanted) and then I decided I didn’t want a solitaire, so the Darling Husband let me put it in a 3 stone setting for my bday.
Some days I feel like I had baguette sides instead of pears… Other times I feel like I wish I had a larger center stone… And other days I wish I had a pretty, dainty three stone bezel ring. Then on some days I wish I didn’t have diamonds at all, but instead rubies…
I’m driving myself mad! Am I the only one?

bibber : Thank you, you’re right… So many things I want 😩

skplue : nope. I go through stuff like this with nearly every big decision I make. Some days I like one thing, some days I don’t. If I ever once liked something, I’ll like it again later. Most of the time if I don’t like something on a certain day, it’s because I’m having a bad day, it’ll pass.

I’m not engaged yet, but I literally have 3 pinterest pages of rings – the main one for what I currently want, and then two others for things that I think I might want but then decide I don’t, but then decide I do, and so on. Ultimately, I always come back to the same style, but it’s so fun to imagine!

I’m the same way. We had talked about getting engaged for a couple years, and I went back and forth countless times on what I wanted for a ring, only to end up asking for a solitaire. I joke with my fiance that I will end up with a whole collection so that I can change it up based on my mood that day! (if only something like that was in the budget haha)

3 words…. Righ Hand Rings. Lots of them.
Yup. That is the solution.

I agree with PP, start a collection of right hand rings. As for myself I wanted a halo diamond ring for years and years and then last minute I changed my mind to solitaire. No regrets and no looking back. I am happy with my decision.

I have definitely driven myself crazy exactly like that!

majorairhead : Yes! I’ve already got ideas. I’ve been checking DB, eBay, & LT daily, and contacted David Klass…
Olivepepper : You just summarized exactly how I feel!

That pesky disease of “Ringzillaitis” has struck once again…see board titled “Beware or you Bee the next victim….if you haven’t succumbed already lol” and you’ll understand…you’re just gonna have to have multiple rings/sets and what’s wrong with that?

I always smile when I read posts like this because I’m glad to see I’m not the only one 🙂
I started off wanting a round solitaire, and then fell in love with Verragio settings. My friend got engaged and I showed her a picture of the ring I liked and suddenly, that’s what she was picking for herself lol. I’m not yet engaged so I had to find something new!
I fell in love with Asscher cut diamonds, and never looked back to rounds. Some days, however, I love ovals. Other days I love pear cut.
I began to love three stone settings. Asscher with traps to be specific…and then all of the sudden, I’m back to loving solitaires with an Asscher center stone.
I finally decided to just give my boyfriend the pictures I liked and asked him for his opinion. He said that he liked the solitaire with the Asscher and thin gold band but didn’t want to seem “cheap” for not choosing the three stone setting lol. So that’s that I think… It’s in his hands!!
Thats my long winded way of saying that you’re not alone😜
