my sister did shades of green for her bridal dresses. I personally love the color of mint green, dresses in that color are always gorgeous.

google images is your friend, plenty of inspo for a mint green/navy blue wedding.

We are using mint green as one of our colors! We are doing the mint green with light blush pink. I was having a really hard time picking the designer for the dresses, I was going to choose the designer and then have all my girls choose which dresses they liked, and all the color swatches I was getting looked more blue mint to me. I also have 9 bridesmaids so finding someone they all felt comfortable with the styles was tricky so I decided to go the mismatched route. The only guideline I gave my girls is mint green knee length, so they can get there dress from where ever. I hope it looks good together!

We are getting married in a barn with a vintage feel so nothing very formal.

We are using mint green for an accent and just want to warn you……it’s realllllllly tough to find anything that is the same shade of green!  Or that is the color it showed in the picture.  We ordered 4 different sets of ties for the guys, not one of them looked the same in person (ie: one “pastel green” tie was LIME GREEN!).  We finally gave up and just settled with set #4.  Trying to find candy for the buffet has been same….jelly beans that showed a nice mint green is showed up super dark, etc etc.  If you can see things in person, awesome, but just a warning if you plan to order anything online.  When you find the right shade, it’s a gorgeous color!

futuremrss17 :  she got her dresses at davids bridal, so pretty standard place. I know from experience of my wedding that davids bridal isnt the greatest in my opinion when its comes to dresses.

Id start googling and trying to find smaller boutiques and what not, thats where i found my Gold bridesmaid dresses (which was the hardest thing ever) as well as my wedding dress.

futuremrss17 :  we considered having the ties made too but I decided close was enough for me!  The two best options came from The Tie Bar in the color spring mint.  Def darker than I had hoped but everything else we got was lime (bows n ties) and found nothing else online or in any store that was remotely close.

Thankfully most of the candy bar is white and just using a few green items.  Just ordered the Jordan almonds and yogurt pretzels today so will see what I get!

good luck!!

We did mint green, blush pink, and grey.  The girl’s dresses were from Target and the guys rented the suits from The Black Tux and I bought their ties for maybe $10 from some random website, I’ll have to see if I can find it.  We also used dusty miller in the flowers to get that minty color.

ETA: Here are the ties I bought.  I guess they were only $5. I was nervous they’d look cheap especially given the name of the website but I thought they looked pretty good.

futuremrss17 :  Colors can be a challenge. Mint green means different things to different people.

Search “mint green” and you come up with everything from turquois to aqua to bright green.

Have you checked Amazon? Zillions of dresses at very reasonable prices.

There are lots of cute summer dresses on sale right now. Have you looked at Asos?

For the mens ties, if you stay away from solid colors, matching the shade is not nearly as big a deal.

futuremrss17 :  I think he would look great in a check shirt and a a patterned tie! The rules have changed for men too.
