I ordered mine on ebay. The whole story is that back in march I saw the dress I wanted but remember on ebay the sale will not be forever so I saved the dress and contacted the seller with the item number of the correct dress color and size. the seller was very quick in responding always every day almost, but when it arrived it was the wrong dress. I contacted the seller, then I received another dress,, and this one was nothing llike what I ordered I was upset and angry. turns out it was someone elses dress which I sent to england for them, they reimbursed me for the costs. I then purchased a back up dress at a bridal salon, with a broken zipper and had it fitted and replaced. But was in hopes that my dress would arrive. and it DID yesterday it fits and its beautiful. I wish you all luck with your dresses.

Paypal doesn’t cover replica dresses. Its their policy. Its a custom item and they can’t prove their is a problem unless their is something severe such as a stain or marking.

@adw2c: They won’t even cover item not received if you didn’t get anything at all from your seller? Or they just won’t cover if the dress wasn’t like it should be?

Mostly if the dress isn’t like it should be. If you don’t receive an item thats a different story. In my one case the dress wasn’t anything as described as well as not like it should have been. I was left without any hope.
I just don’t recommend the ebay route anymore for a custom dress based on my experience alone.
However, with other companies besides ebay where paypal in envolved you can expect a similar outcome through paypal. They don’t back custom items.
For example, one bee had a very different color than she imagined and she saw pictured. She couldn’t get paypal to budge.
Just think everyone should really invest in a good company and not what they think will be “safe”.

@USAandKSA:I also ordered with Shades of Pale. I’m waiting and anxious too. They said up to 6 weeks. my contact is Amalia. I’m getting nervous because my wedding is 11/10. I ordered it the 2nd week of September. They had a holiday one week and another holiday this whole week. I wish I knew that earlier. I hope it comes on time.

@smooches173: My dress is ready and so just what I was so happy when I saw the pictures its just like I imagined it might already be here I have been Out of Town for the last few days so it may have arrived while I was gone I will have to check. I will do a review of them once I actually have my dress and some spare time so keep an eye out for it. My dress came on time but your wedding is so close. I would suggest emailing them your wedding date just so they know that they need to hurry up with your dress. I found a group about them on another website with some brides that have ordered from them too. I don’t think I can post the link according to WB’s rules, I’m really not sure but PM me if you want that link.
