I wish I had the chance to try them on and check out an affordable Vera Wang, but honestly it makes me feel better that I have a gorgeous dress that NOT everybody would have. I think that was always my turn-off with David’s Bridal – that so many other brides would have the same dress and that it wouldn’t be unique for your special day. So I have no regrets!

It’s my first time to post on the blog…i just really want to say something about the White by vera Wang collection. For those who really regret not having the dress, it’s really not a big deal, i got so excited before i tried on the dress, my fiancé already warned me not to get too excited because how can one have a lux line with gown that cost over $10, 000 and have a more economic line with the same material and quality. So anyways, i went to DB and tried on the dress, to be honest, as soon as i walked it, i was disappointed already, dresses look really nice in pic, but in real, not that nice of quality (both fabric and cutting), i mean it’s nice, but not like the ‘Vera Wang’ dresses that cost over $10,000. So i guess what you pay is what you get…so, no need to get upset….and for those who bought the dress, pls don’t misunderstanding that i am bashing the dress, i am also happy for you! J just not what i expected…

Am I the only one who is not excited about this? I don’t think the dresses look all that great compared to other dresses of similar price. Is it because it’s Vera Wang that everyone is swooning over them? I think for strong dislike towards anything DB also factors into this too. I can’t imagine the quality actually being that great on these. No offense to other DB and/or DB White brides, but I am not impressed.

I think the DB Vera gowns look really cool but I like the fact that I bought my dress from a family owned operation rather than a corporation. Does Vera really need anymore money?

Yes! I am so jealous. I really wanted a Vera but didn’t know where to go around here last year :/ (Other than driving to Chicago)
