I’m a full time student, full time worker, and full time planner of my own wedding! I am finishing up my degree in media productions, so couple all that with having to spend hours in studios editing audio and video, filming at all hours, and trying to work around the schedules of my much younger classmates (who are generally pretty irresponsible with a few exceptions) has got me at my whits end!!! It’s going to be great though, once it’s over. Not only will I be married, but I’ll have one less thing eating away at me!

My husband and I worked FT and went to school at night together FT for our MBA’s all while planning our wedding. It was difficult because we had NO free time between the three!
Now that the wedding is over, its a little better, but we’re still working FT and going to school at night FT. Can’t wait to have my masters in MAY!!!!
P.S. it is easier that my hubby is in all the same classes with me. We get to do our homework together/share books!

I’m in my final year of a pretty rigorous Masters program. Still trying to figure out how to juggle writing a thesis, classwork, working, applying to PhD programs, and wedding planning. Pretty much a mess on a regular basis. You are not alone 🙂

Wedding planning and going to graduate school is not fun, I don’t know how I did it…. or doing it…. so props to all us smarty pants 🙂 lol It’s been stressful, but I feel accomplished for getting everythign done that needs to be done and still do well… just gotta finish my thesis and Ill have my masters!! what a year!!!

I decided to take off this fall and start back in the spring. I just didn’t want to stress about school when I have so much to do. I think that if I did both then I couldn’t give the attention that I needed to either of them!

Bless all you you doing that! I pushed through a 2year grad program to finish it in a year and I was out of my mind with the amount of work! I couldn’t even imagine trying to do anything else much less planning a wedding! I wish you all the best with everything!

I’m working towards my ScD while wedding planning. As stressful as it is, Fiance has it worse. It’s common for him to do 50-60 hour work weeks… and that’s not even during “busy season.” When I’m freaking out I compare my work/planning to his insane schedule. I guess that’s what keeps me sane.
@miss.nicole: I just have to add that you made me LOL with the bra story!

I am so glad not to be alone in this adventure!

I feel your pain, I’m in grad school and planning a wedding….I am so busy day to day that I have no patience at the end of it to think about wedding stuff! And my mom emails me all day about wedding, and I just don’t have time to answer a lot of the time!

Oh yes. I’m working on my Bachelor’s in Business Administration in Event Planning… so while the course loads are intense (I’m really piling them on, wanna get this done and over with!), they are also super relevant to my wedding planning. Even the business and finance courses are helpful because of budgeting and estimating figures, lol.
Don’t get me wrong, though – like lots of you, I’m still stressed, BROKE (textbooks + wedding costs = empty bank account), and pretty much ignoring my wedding until January.

@miss.nicole: I am pursuing my master’s degree part-time, while working full-time and trying to plan a wedding. Friends and family are bummed that I don’t have time to hang out anymore but the truth is I barely have time to hang out with Fiance and I LIVE with him. It’s tough but all you can do is breathe, take it one task at a time and when you NEED that break don’t be afraid to just log off for a bit.

Yup…working on my Master’s. I have an intense course load plus a thesis and two practicum placements, and I work part-time. Not really sure how this is going to go down when it gets to the point that I actually need to be planning stuff rather than just using it as procrastination :P!!
