I have insomnia as it is so I probably won’t sleep but I can’t really do much about that.

OMG! I can’t even sleep on Christmas eve. I’m going to be up all night before the wedding.

I was really worried about this, but I was so exhausted from all the running around that week, that I happily passed out at a reasonable hour (after a glass of wine, of course ๐Ÿ˜‰ ).

I’m spending the night before our wedding with my Fiance, and I have never once had a bad night sleep beside him.  I think this is my ace in the hole!  My first night-before-the-wedding was spent in an unfamiliar bed with unfamilliar pillows trying not to disturb my Maid/Matron of Honor, and I doubt I slept more than 3 hours.  This time, I’m not taking any chances!  ๐Ÿ˜‰

@Broken Biscuit:  This was going to be my exact response!!!

OP, I am gonna stock up on some meltonin to try and help. It’s natural and has less side effects than RX sleeping aids. You could look into that.

Yeah, I haven’t gotten much sleep the past week before the wedding. I haven’t wanted to take too many ambian so for the most part I just suck it up, but for the night before I will be taking something to get some sleep

i’m nervous about it too, i cant sleep when im excited, nervous or anxious about something- i don’t generally get the dark circles or puffiness but i just don’t want to be too tired to do anything on my wedding day

I pretty much know I won’t sleep, but I think it’ll be okay.  It’s just one day and it’s not like I have to perform brain surgery, so it’s okay if I’m tired.

I was so excited about our wedding day!!  I slept with my Maid/Matron of Honor and two bridesmaids, we had our last “single” sleepover and it was so much fun ๐Ÿ™‚  We stayed up till about 2am drinking wine and talking.  Everybody else fell right to sleep except me.  I heard the clock downstairs strike 3 then 4 then 5 then 6, i was so tired but so excited and I was mad at myself for not being able to sleep.  I think i slept a total of 1 1/2 hours.  I was wide awake at 730 and woke up my bridesmaids to chat!!

It really didnt matter that I didnt get any sleep, nobody could tell, I was so excited and happy and was just going going going… My husband and I took a very long nap on sunday afternoon after all the wedding stuff was over, thank god we waited to start the honeymoon till tuesday.  We needed monday to pack, no way would we have gotten anything done on sunday!
