My Fiance had  equal say in the colours. It was more a I pick one, he picked one and then we just choose the shades and added a third to off-set them. Our colours are plum/eggplant purple, navy blue and ivory.

While its very common that the man gives the bride full rein so he doesn’t have to care about all the little details, some men care and want equal say. It’s his wedding too and you have to make sure he gets to have the day he wants just as much as you.

I don’t think it’s odd. It’s his wedding too!

My Fiance said I could have whatever I wanted but he would prefer not to have certain colour combinations (rival sports teams…)

That said, men need visual cues. I wouldn’t take his yes or no seriously unless he’s seen a moodboard of how it would look.

Fiance helped pick everything we did except the colors, I actually picked those, but he loved them so we went with it. But I get where you’re coming from because my best friend is having the same problem, she wants a certain combo and her Fiance who supposedly doesn’t care about anything, doesn’t like what she’s chosen and it’s holding up their STD’s because they can’t agree on a combo.

I’ve been so thankful my Fiance has been involved in every step of the process… except for when his opinion differs from mine on something… 🙂 Take a deep breath, maybe take him there with you, and maybe then he’ll see what you’re going for?

We agreed on the colors.
