My boyfriend loves to tease me about presents. He’ll tell me weeks in advance that he’s getting me something for bday/christmas/etc. and then will delight in the fact that I’m a horrible guesser and never figure out what it is. It sucks because he’s really good at guessing what his presents are and I gave him his gift early because he had guessed (on the 1st try!!) and that kinda killed the excitement. Anyways, just now he says, “You’ll get it on Saturday. Unless you want it Friday? That’s when I’m picking it up.” so I reply, “You haven’t even bought whatever it is yet?” and he says, “I did, but I’m picking it up Friday.” Am I being unrealistic in thinking that it sounds like an ering? I have another thread about a bunch of things he’s been saying (like telling my dad what it is!) that makes me think it’s an ering, but I’m trying not to get my hopes up. He’s told me he won’t get married until he finishes school, which is still at least two years out.
I just really need yall to bring me back to reality!!

Very suspicious… there aren’t many things that I can think of that you buy and then go back to pick up, other than an e-ring. He’s certainly giving you a hard time! It seems like signs are pointing your way…and just think – either way, you’ll know more this weekend! The fact that he seems excited about giving it to you is the best indicator in my opinion. 🙂

You never know!!! Love it no matter what – my guy is a teaser, too, but right now he’s on a fake proposal kick. 😐

My SO does the same thing- keeps talking about how great my Christmas gift is going to be…. I don’t even focus in on it any more- it would drive me crazy.

Yes, mine said that my present isn’t something he gives me, it is something I do and he will know when the time is right. Ugh!

Well, you can order things from many stores (Like Walmart) and have them delivered to the store so you don’t have to pay shipping. So it could be pretty much anything.

Oh yes – mine is totally torturing me. See my thread entitled “Dang Christmas.” He keeps saying “You’re going to have a humdinger of a Christmas.” “You’re going to be so excited.”
Then he’ll say “now don’t get too excited.”
Lord have mercy……
