Anyone end up with a dress that was totally not what they envisioned?

Yes, me too! Though I knew I wanted to go in with an open mind, I thought I knew what I’d end up with – an a-line with a flowy skirt, very little lace or beading, no strapless sweetheart necklines, NO mermaids. Then everything I thought I’d love made me look like a child in a nightgown, and wasn’t doing anything for my figure. Now I’ve fallen in love with a satin fit and flare (though it’s a very slight flare) with a sweetheart neckline overlayed with some dramatic illusion beading, of course! I though it was actually really fun having my mind changed on a lot of my supposed preferences, i.e. I actually do like lace just not in flowery patterns, beads are great when making a statement, ballgowns don’t look awful! Who knew!

Yes! I thought I wanted a mermaid/trumpet and I ended up in a flowy A-line/ballgown!Screen Shot 2017-02-06 at 10.42.58 AMIMG_0612
