I’ve never heard of using saline but I have heard of wetting the brush with water.  I’m a fan of powder eye liner and wetting the brush helps tremendously.

I haven’t heard of saline, but I’ve heard of the water trick – especially with mineral-type eye shadow.

I use a powder eyeshadow to line my eyes (MAC Carbon) and I put it on with a wet eyeliner brush.  Im sure you could dip it in water, but I lick the liner brush (I know I know, gross) but it stays on ALL DAY.  Im sure if you try it on the entire lid it owuld work as well.  Never heard of saline though

I use saline. It works wonders. But always make sure you have some sort of primer/foundation first. It doesn’t cake, as long as you don’t use too much saline. And yes, it beads up, but the idea isn’t to make the brush sopping wet, it’s just to make the power a little wet. If I don’t have saline, water works just fine. But I find that the colors stay more vivid with the saline. 🙂

I use cream eyeshadow as a base…it’s really like an adhesive for powder eye shadow. If you buy a quality cream shadow (MAC is stellar), it won’t crease and it stays all day. I love the stuff. I also use primer in addition to the cream shadow base.

I haven’t heard of using saline either, but I do like wetting my brush and dipping into the powder for my eyeliner.

I use laura mercier eyeshawdow primer and then since the primer just basically makes my eyelid a clean slate and then I put on MAC “bare study” that comes in a paint pod it basically sets the eyeshawdow and once it is on your lid it isn’t going anywhere! Love it!

I just use Urban Decay Primer Potion. That stuff is like crack for makeup junkies.
