My best friend is getting married in October. She’s been looking for the perfect wedding dress and found one online that she fell in love with. The name of the company is called Joy In The Box. She ordered the dress for $175. She never recieved an order confirmation or anything. Then she saw a charge on her credit card for $246.81 and a hold on her card for just under that. She immediately went back onto the website to try to get in contact with someone but she realized then that they don’t have a phone number listed!! The only way you can talk to someone is by live chat (but there is never an agent available) or through email. She emailed them to find out why they took so much money and why she can’t login to her account she created on their site. They said they can’t find her in their system at all. How can a company take such a huge amount of money and not have any record of her?!?!?!? She’s already contacted her credit card company to seek help through them but they have no phone number either. The only info they have is that the charge was run as “PES*weddinglee.com Beijing CN”. They are working with her also with inciating a fraud claim and to get her money back. The refuse to return her emails. They have not had any communication with her at all since they informed her they couldn’t find her in their system! Has anyone every dealt with these people? OR dealt with a similar company? As her maid of honor I’m trying to help her get this fixed and take some of the worry off her shoulders!!!!!
