Hey bees! I’m totally loving the colors and lights in this picture below of the Disney teacups. We’re doing a similar eclectic colorscheme with these types of jewel tones. I’m toying with what it might be like to use mulitple colors of uplights around the room rather than just 1. Would it give this fun affect or would it just be a hot mess? Has anyone ever used more than 1 uplighting color at once? I’d love to hear or see pics! Thanks!

I’ve never actually seen this done at a wedding, but I think it would look cool (and go with your theme) if you just stuck to 2 different colors and if they were in the same color family….for example, if you used purple and blue together or pink and purple (or whatever is closest to your colors) and then alternated between the 2 colors.

Yeah, I’ve seen 2 different colors in uplighting. I think it kind of takes away from the intensity, but to each their own. If you want to incorporate these colors, maybe you can use multicolored christmas lights somehow? Or designate each wall to be a separate colored uplight? I dunno… I think if you space out multicolored uplighting it will look weird, imho.
