I really like the back of this dress too – – I haven’t seen other dresses like it, I wonder if you could somehow get a halter or high neck dress and have the ‘back bar’ design created?  You know, kinda how we get our necklines from sqr to sweetheart?!?!?

I recently saw a jewelry company that was making these as jewelry to add but not apart of the dress.  Sorry, I don’t remember the company or even what day I saw it (or i would history search it).  Maybe you could try googleing it.

One of my best girlfriends bought a Galina halter style dress from DB with a beautiful beautiful back bar (didn’t know that is what it is called).  It has buttons going down the back, it is just beautiful.  Seems like great quality, too.  I think it cost around $700.00.

I think that that style is technically known as a “T-Strap”. Maybe search using that?

My friend’s future sister-in-law had it added to her dress.  Going to the wedding in Oct, so can’t tell you how it turned out yet, but it is possible if you can’t find a dress you like that has it already.

I tried on Billie. It was GORGEOUS. The straps were really itchy though. Im debating getting it anyway and trying to put on different straps. or maybe add fabric behind it so it isnt so killer? But man, the figure it gave me was pretty close to priceless.

The Disney princess dress collection by Alfred Angelo also has a dress with the back bar treatment, althought they aren’t available until spring.
