I wouldn’t call it a theme persay. The colors lead me to think "romantic and pretty" but that isn’t actually a theme. I just put thigns I like together that aren’t so modern they clash with our not so modern reception hall.

When I started the planning process we had a theme and set colors but as I keep planning I have gone away from the theme and just used the colors throughout all the decor and all. I am using different patterns too just to make it different. I say if it looks good to you don’t worry about it. I am sure it will all work out fine.

I admire creative people that can execute a themed wedding properly, but I am not one of them! I am trying to make my wedding classy but simple, and relaxed, if that’s possible.

I’m with you girly! I was just worrying about it with my almost Mr. yesterday! He feels the same way I do (not that it’s keeping me from worrying about it, but) our main goal is to a have fun wedding where all of our loved ones can get together and fun and celebrate our love! I keep thinking I should have a theme, just for tradition’s sake, but nothins is calling to me and I think a half done theme just for theme’s sake will look worse then a non themed beautifully decorated and coordinating reception!
Haha to cheerful, i love ur wedding themed wedding, can I steal your idea? lol

At the moment we are leaning towards a “sophisticated Italian picnic”. I am part Italian and LOVE Italian food. We are also doing ceremony and reception outdoors in a historic park. It is definitely a casual event, but with dashes of class. We want it to be fun and very welcoming for guests, but sophisticated! However, I am stumped on colors because I seem to like all colors!
