I’m stressing about my dress. I bought it online (I know that’s not always smart, but we are low budget and I got the dress and veil for $142 and it’s beautiful) but after I paid for it, I got an email from them that was very poorly translated into English and so I started looking up reviews for Kiss Dresses. I also understand that MOST (not all, but most) people tend to only write a review when they had a very bad experience, but I saw a few scary stories and now I’m crazy nervous. I ordered the dress almost 4 weeks ago and the email said they had a long weekend (3 weeks ago) so their dresses wouldn’t be shipped until after the 22nd of March. I didn’t really understand why a long weekend would impact their shipment so much, but whatever. Now I’m just waiting and praying for an email saying my dress has shipped.

I guess I still technically have a lot of time in case something awful happens, but most reviews say the customer service experience is stressful because they are Chinese and it’s just difficult to communicate over the phone.

I’m probably stressing over nothing, but I have a lot of anxiety over this lol.

ME ME ME! My fingers are burned with hot glue and after 2 nights of working on my cupcake tower it is still not done and now Fi wants ribbon wrapped around all of the candles with a damn bow… SERIOUSLY I have no idea how long that is even going to take me to finish… by the end of this wedding I may not have finger tips lol…

@SaraLynne024:  I would be frustrated too… Does she know that you bought the dress? and yes we are officially under the 5 month mark… It seems like just the other day we were at a year out lol…

@SaraLynne024:  OMG no she DID NOT! Good for you for smiling through it but wow that must be a huge stresses for you!! Maybe it’s better that her wedding is first though, her dress can be like the opening act for yours. Which will be styled better. And just generally look prettier. Obviously.

How is it already the end of MARCH?! I am majorly stressing out, mostly about if people are going to come to the wedding! We are working with kind of a small reception space and we invited a lot of out of town guests so we could have as many as 95 people and as few as 60. That might not sound like a huge difference but its three more of the tables I want and is a totally different seating plan, rental situation, flower cost, etc.

Ah ladies, you’ve been wonderful! But I’m bowing out of the August 2013 group since Fiance and I have decided to elope! SHHH! It’ll be on May 3, just the two of us! I’m SO excited!

No more stress for me. 🙂

You ladies are all doing awesome! Just take a deeeeep breath and step back to look at things! I know all of your weddings are going to be incredible 🙂

@Ixtlali:  I just ordered mine yesterday, I was getting really worried about my inability to make a decision on that too!

I am August 31 too, and we still have a lot to do. I had a bunch of stuff planned for these couple of weeks (Spring Break and just in general some extra free time), but then I found out we lost our caterer, so everything else was put of while we dealt with that. That might be worked out now so I am back to focusing on everything else. We still need bridesmaid dresses, a DOC, and to figure out what we are doing for dessert (we don’t want cake, maybe icecream?). Oh and the ceremony musicians we wanted probably aren’t going to work out either, so I need to figure that out too!

Yes! Well not so much stressed as just kind of over planning. I wanna elope in Las Vegas! Still excited to get married but ready to be done with it already.

Definitely have been having some very VERY weird wedding dreams. I can only imagine they will get stranger as August gets closer.

@PacificMrs:  That’s so exciting! Are you going to tell everyone once you get back, or still go through will the motions of the original plan for show?

Im at the point where I want to elope so badly but our families would never forgive us. Congrats!

@Snapdragon2804:  I told my BFF who was going to be flying in from Germany and he told a few guys at work so that they wouldn’t take off, but that’s it! No more August anything 🙂 We sent the Save-The-Date Cards last September and were planning to send the invites at the end of May. So now, instead, we’re just going to send elopement announcements.

It’s so much less stress, I swear it’s the best decision I’ve made in wedding planning. Minus my groom-choice, of course haha.

We have some family who will probably be a little bit angry, but that’s the whole reason that we are eloping. This day is about us, not them, and Fiance and I both lost sight of that. I don’t want to remember how stressed out I was planning for one day where all I was worried about was other people, when I really should be worried about just us.
