Hi!

So, I have some ideas for you, but I also suggest that you post over at the Northeast Ohio Knot board. Those girls over there are super helpful and kind!

Anyways, I am getting married at Manakiki in Willoughby Hills. Gorgeous maple grove for the ceremony and an old plantation house for the reception. Check it out: http://www.sammys.com For this site, both the ceremony and reception have to be held at Manakiki.

Close by there is Pine Ridge Country Club (catered by Dinos), the Holden Arboretum, Thunder Hill Golf Course, The Lodge at Geneva on the Lake and Western Reserve Historical Society.

That’s all I can think of right now. Let me know if you need anymore help!

check out the Botanical Gardens if you want something clean and outdoors, I went to a wedding there a couple years ago, it was fantastic!

look at Severance Hall too, they’re better priced than I thought and they’re catering manager is awesome and cooperative.

I was at a wedding at the Renaissance last year too, totally beautiful and perfect fit for an elegant indoor setting.

How about Hillbrook in Hunting Valley?

You could always check out St. Gabe’s in Painesville/Concord for another church.  As far as a reception location, my Maid/Matron of Honor got married a few years ago at the Geneva Lodge and it was amazing!  Great location, great staff, great accommodations…not a single complaint about the place.

You should check out the Mooreland Mansion!  I am getting Married there in August!  Ceremony will be held in the Rose Garden and the Reception in the Mansion!  If you google it online you can watch a mini video but I have to say that words can not compare to how great this place is when you see it in person.  If you going for Vintage this is the place very cool and old time place with an elegance!
