I am planning a July 7th (Sunday) wedding at the Liberty Hotel in the Beacon Hill area. I don’t want people, even those IN the wedding, to feel like they have to stay in the city for two nights just for a rehearsal dinner. It’s a very small ceremony and wedding party, so we really don’t need to rehearse too much.
I’m looking for a casual, inexpensive alternative to the stuffy rehearsal dinner. Can you suggest any restaurants and activities in the Little Italy area/North End?
Thanks for your help!

Hi! Okay, this is in Cambridge (sorry) and I have not been there yet, BUT I just heard about it and it sounded so awesome. It’s called Cuchi Cuchi and it’s a roaring 20’s themed restaurant/cocktail lounge. The hostesses all dress like flappers.
I’m fairly new to Boston, but I imagine that the weekend following July 4th there will be all kinds of things going on. Maybe you could do a sunset cruise out of the North End? I was reading you can get groupon deals. Honestly, it’s so cool around there that your guests would probably love walking around, grabbing a pastry, people watching…
