searching searching…looking for a band with a good selection of 40’s jazz/swing… and even better if they also do some 50’s pop/r&b. I’m finding ton’s of dance bands with modern setlists… is anyone else out there getting a live band? Any good finds?

@SoCalBelle: I’m having the Tracy Rose band http://www.tracyrosetrio.com at my wedding, they do a lot of classic jazz, we were just excited when they had the first dance song my Fiance wanted (All the Things You Are) on their regular set list. You can book them as a trio of drums, keyboard, and bass where they all sing vocals or they can add a female vocalist, a guitar, or a sax.
Unfortunately I don’t know how much they cost, my dad loves jazz so I let him pick the band. He’s heard them before at local events and his club and he really likes them so I’m pretty sure they are good. Also they will let a member of your family join them for a song or two if you want.
