YES I know I’m super indecisive, but just wondering if anyone had gotten married in any of these places?
Look at this link for pictures, my pros/cons, etc
Quick Choice List:
Piney River Ranch
Wild Basin Lodge
Vail Wedding Deck
Zilker Botanical Gardens
Castle in the Clouds
The location doesn’t matter too much, other than it should be in North America. I am now in Korea so flying anywhere in NA, the cost doesn’t change too much, and my friends are all over the country as well, so no matter where I choose, a large chunk of people would be traveling anyway. In fact, I have more friends in NE US/E Canada than I do where my parents live in Texas.
The places I chose are ones that are scenic or nice and/or good cost for what I get for the fees. Not really looking for cookie cutter wedding places.

i went to a wedding in alexandria bay (1000 islands) at boldt castle – it was GORGEOUS…. but cold.. 🙂

I’ve seen weddings at 1000 islands also, but being from Upstate NY, just a word to the wise that sometimes the weather is a little unpredicatable. It’s not like other places where you can be sure it wont rain. If you get a nice day, you’ll have a beautiful wedding and Boldt Castle is great but NY and rain… they go hand in hand.

- Wedding: January 2011 - Vintage Villas
I’m from Austin, and both Zilker and Chapel Dulcinea are gorgeous, although Dulcinea fits very few people – it only has seating for 12, but can fit up to about 60 or 70 if you have everyone standing (and some people standing pretty far back)
