My cousin, the DJ, has been so generous throughout this whole process, even being the DJ for free, well We are two days away and today he told me he can’t make it to the rehearsal. He said an emergency came up, I didn’t ask, but I know he wouldn’t blow me off since he’s known about this for the past 10 months.
I am not too stressed (trying not to be) and he will be there early on Friday to do a sound check and what not.
Has anyone has the rehearsal without a DJ? Terrible thing or it was just fine?
He’s done tons of weddings before, so he knows what he is doing..but still.
Thanks for the input 🙂

Is he playing music for the ceremony I assume? We did our rehearsal without our string quartet and it turned out fine.

I’ve never been at a rehearsal where the DJ/musician WAS there, haha, you’ll be fine.

- Wedding: June 2013 - Piney River Ranch
I’ve never heard of a DJ being present for anything except the wedding itself.

@TaurianDoll: Yeah he’s doing the ceremony music. Just curious if anyone else has done it without them.
@TaurianDoll: He planned on coming to make sure the timing for everything is correct.
