Yes, and I knew right away.

Yes, and I didn't notice for a while.

I'm currently unsure if my ring(s) are sized correctly.

Mine fit the same as the ones in the store, but I must say that their sizing is not the same as any other… every single ‘ring-finger’ ring I have is a size 7, and my e-ring is a ‘7.5’ and tighter than any other one…

I just left my ring with the jeweler to be sized up from a 3.5 to a 4. The base of my finger is 3.75 but I have a callous on my knuckle and my knuckle aches from putting it on and off every day. I’m sizing it up to a 4, which will mean it will spin a bit, but shouldn’t fall off. The size 4 sizer was definitely snug over my knuckle. I asked the girl at the jewelry store about it and when I had a little trouble getting the ring off she agreed a 4 would probably be okay, even with the spinning.

They sized my ering to be an 8.5 but when I got it was way too big. They put it on a rod to see what size it was an remeasured my finger… Not only was my finger size wrong, I wear an 8. But the ring was a size 10! Lol

The type of band makes a difference too.  I wear a size 7.  I have rings that are sized 7 and 7.25.  One of the 7.25 rings I have fits like a 7.  Then I have a 7 that fits like a 7.5.  They all have different widths and shapes of bands.

When I got my class ring they sized me as a 5.5 instead of a 4.5. When it came in the mail I put it on and it felt big. Then I washed my hands and shook them to dry them off and it flew across the room. I ended up wearing it on my middle finger because I didn’t want to send it away to get sized.

I’ve had my ring for about two weeks now, and even though I noticed right away that it was a tad too big I just didn’t want to be without it! It’s getting quite annoying now though, I hate how it spins on my finger, especially when I’m cold, so I’m really considering having it sized down one more time from a 3.25 to a 3. It’s funny because as I type this it’s perfectly fine, but most of the time while I type it falls right down towards my pinky. Boo.

I didn’t, but Fiance did.  When we were looking for his wedding band his finger was measured at two different jewelers as a size 12.  We ended up ordering his ring online, and we ordered a size 12. When it came, it was so huge that he couldn’t even hang his hand by his side without the ring sliding right off.

my band is too tight. I had it sized by the same jeweler that did my e-ring, but he made it just a smidge too tight. At our wedding, my husband couldnt get it over my knuckle and I had to help him…lol a little embarassing…but it’s there for good!

Oh yeah. Fiance ordered my ring in a 5.5 because I made such a big deal about being a 5.5 and it stuck in his head. I actually measured at the store and mentioned that I should go to a 5, but he’d been hearing 5.5 for so long that it didn’t even register. I could really go down to a 4.75 or even 4.5. I knew it was too big immediately after we got it back from being resized.

@Saria213:  I’m also picky about the spinning towards the pinky part!  Mine is currently a 5.25, but I should have just went with the 5 (but I was nervous of any sweeling and getting hot and the ring being too tught)….but it’s been 95 in NYC and my ring still has room! lol

I had a right hand ring sized at Helzberg a couple weeks ago. It should have been a 5.25 but it was a 6. It was way too big for me and they sized it again for free.
